I was wondering if I can still perform LDs on a regular basis, because usually every 7/10 I'll wake up and still be kinda asleep, and start mumbling and talking. Also if I have had a bad dream, I'll wake up screaming.

You should be able to continue to LD, although I can see that this may be a stumbling block for you. Are you a talkative person - I used to know someone who talks alot and he use to do the same thing. Still... better a random talker than a random sleep walker.
I play broccoli with checkers every night.

And so he is! My bad.
It might be one thing to lucid dream with awareness, but scary to have what should be false awakenings that are actually real.
