      yeah, I get it occasionally, not like once a week more like once or twice every 3 months, very rarely, but I do get it. I got it like two months ago.

      First off, I only do WBTB/WILD to go lucid, I never had a lucid dream doing any other method and very rarely do I become lucid from normal dreams. I have like a 100% successrate when I do WBTB/WILD. Well, I should, I've been doing it since 2004, lol.

      Anyway, when I WILD, I go into SP and then it all stops... I am in a black void and then the dream sort of forms around me.

      Well, sometimes when I get out of the void and into my dream I am completely submerged in water.... and I don't mean like a pool or a tank, I mean completely submerged in deep blue. Its a deep dark blue color and I swim up, down, and all around and I can't seem to get anywhere.

      There are no fish, or any life forms of any kind. It's just me in water... its worse then most nightmares I have because I'm completely lucid when this happens and I can't do anything at all. I'm also completely naked, which in its self is weird.

      Is this normal? To have a recurring lucid dream like this?

      I&#39;m no expert (look at no. of posts, lol), but it sounds like you have a big discision in your life. You don&#39;t know where to go. Like in the big blue.

      This is comming, though, from one who has never gone lucid and remembered. Before taking my advice, wait for another, more experanced lucid dreamer to post.

      1 LD a week.
      Currently trying MILD.
      Lucid Training time: 6 months.
      Lucid Age: 2 months.

      Big decision in my life? I&#39;ve had this dream for years. Since I started lucid dreaming. The first lucid dream I ever had was this actually. But I woke up shortly after going lucid.

      I first got it going into my senior year of highschool(July 2004).

      The only "big" decision I&#39;m facing right now is picking a major for college, I&#39;m very indecisive. I can&#39;t decide between Nursing or some type of Science, though I&#39;m leaning towards Chemistry.

      Hey, why dont you close your eyes and say you&#39;l be in a sweet meadow or at your school or something. Be confident . I dunno about your " big decision" but who knows... When you say the dream &#39;forms&#39; around you, you might be thinking of that scenario. Like... " OMG ITS FORMING, i hope it isnt that under water one i have every 3 months... OMG my time is due&#33;" lol, you might be causing it. So next time try to be like " It&#39;s going to be a castle or feild or something."

      when I close my eyes in a dream I get stuck in a black void and no dream forms around me... which is weird because when I WILD I enter the void and the dream comes rushing to me like I&#39;m in that white room in the matrix... but its black.

      Only once did a dream "form" around me after closing my eyes. And it was very weird. One minute I was in my living room, I closed my eyes and was stuck in blackness, then all of a sudden I was on a stage in an empty auditorium sitting in a folding chair and an acoustic guitar was on my lap.

      You have the power to change the scene. As Riff said, close your eyes and imagine what you want floating towards you, your ideal dreamscape encompassing you and forming around you. It is only a lack of confidence that holds you back.
