      MY most vivid nightmare.

      It occurred to me twice but in different years.

      Basically this is what happens (hard to explain) I'm half in a room half outside. The room looks like there is no light because the walls are completely black. In this room there is a huge Black sphere with Violet rays radiating from it, then I feel as if I more in the room that outside on the wonderful beautiful grass and that this ball is going to destroy me, and I have nothing to do about it. Nobody will notice but one by one be killed by this sphere.

      When I wake up I don't remember much and don't think the dream is really all that scary, but when I'm dreaming, I'm scared almost suicidal. I actually woke up the first time crying in my sleep.

      Anyways happily it's only happened twice, just wanted to know what you all thought of it.

      Odd nightmare, indeed...

      I always find it interesting how something not-really-scary in nature can be terrifying in dreams. (Zombies that sing.)

      I know what you mean when you say that in the dream you are terrified, and you wake up being all, like: wow that was an entertaining dream, but not THAT scary.

      I think your dream is about experiencing terror, not really about a black sphere being a scary thing. do you know what i mean.

      OR THIS COULD BE A PROFOUND MESSAGE!!!!, lets analyse

      *puts on a serious look and reading glasses* (haha)

      The black sphere is a symbol.... what could this black sphere represent for you...

      1) you know that you are scared of it, a lot.

      2) You said that it was going to consume everybody, right?

      3) It stands between human civilization and nature: hence the half house half yard place you find it in. (what about the black walls?)

      4) There is nothing you can about it.

      Now ask yourself this: what is the source of your terror, is it your death, or your incapability to stop what is going to destroy us all.

      OK, take all this and ruminate. Try to see how your life connects to this. Maybe I was heading in the wrong direction with this analysis, so redirect your questions if these seem irrelevant.
