First of all, let me say that nightmares usually don't affect me. But this one still makes me a little upset when I think about it. Not just because it's family, but because it was pretty horrible.
Anyways, I don't remember what exactly was happening, but we were in a building, and there was a ride built in. Maybe a fair or something, in the indoor section. Anyways, there was a little cutout in the wall where there was a ride. It was one that went up and dropped you, but spun the whole way. My brother wanted my parents to get a picture, and without knowing the ride was there, ran in the cutout while it was up. We were all yelling for him to get out, but he was confused and stood there trying to figure out what we were saying. The ride came back down and hit him, and he was crumpled up screaming. There were cracks around the side of the floor, where it led down to a concrete room very far down (picture a wide, brightly-lit elevator shaft). His body had fallen down there, but because the crack was so narrow, his feet were hooked on. The ride had been raised back up because of what happened, and I ran over to grab his feet. I didn't get there in time and he fell, still screaming. I'm fairly certain he hit his head or his neck and then sort of bounced about 10 feet, out of sight. I woke up then. m
