Recently, I had a really scary dream. I was walking through a forest, when someone or something spoke to me from inside of a bush. I don't remember what it said, but I told it to stop following me. It came out and said it wasn't doing so, in a high-pitched female voice, which sounded evil. She looked like a goblin, with some sort of ruby crown and a hammer that looked like a toy hammer, but still it looked very hard. I said: 'You are, why are you there if you aren't following me?' Then it turned it's head around and spoke to something I couldn't see, something that was in another bush. I remember seeing it's eyes, but I don't remember their color. The goblin said 'We don't need him anymore. Remove him.' I was sure the thing the goblin spoke to was going to kill me, so I started running. After a few seconds, I saw a road through the forest, accross which was a large mansion. I ran into the garden, but running became really hard. I tried to focus on running, but my legs didn't listen, and did a sort of slow jog.
When I knocked on the door, another wave of fear hit me; I was afraid the door would open too late, that the monster would attack me before I could get inside. But the door quickly opened and a frightened looking butler told me 'Get inside! Quick!'. As soon as I was in, he closed the door and another man, who I think was the owner of the house, came and said 'Don't worry. The armor will hold'. That scared me even more than the monster did. Then I saw a woman in a red dress running through the garden. I could see her through the large window next to the door. The butler opened and the woman came in, saying: 'It was horrible! They were making tea and then...' Then the butler opened the door again, and the same woman came in! She happily said: 'Hi!' and then she saw the other woman and her face turned pale. Then I woke up. I think the first woman was the monster, but I never saw its true form. This nightmare spooked around in my head for a few days afterwards. It scared me alot and I wonder whether it is normal to have dreams that feel this real.
