Well I haven't ever heard of the particular 11:11 thing you linked to... but have seen some experience with reoccuring numbers relating to significant events in my life. I have a son, and for many many years his father had seen the numbers 11:02. This happened to him long before we had ever met, and ended up being the day our son was born.. kind of strange I think Maybe the numbers are the date something important is going to happen to you...

It is a mind trick I think. I had the same thing with 10:22. To the point it freaked me out. As I told my friends it started to happen to them as well. As Kaniaz said, think of all the other numbers you have looked at and diregarded. But if a number is brought up as was 10:22 to my friends it sticks out. Like when someone you know gets a differant car and all of a sudden you seem to see that car eveywhere. It is more like awareness. 11:11 also has specific traits which make it stand out more than 9:25 or random numbers unless those numbers mean somthing to you -which brings me back to the car scenario.

Well, I stumbled across a word recently called "selective thinking". Not sure if it is actually a real word, but I think it's good to describe what happens here. For example: Man looks at clock. It's 12:03. Man quickly forgets that he looked at the clock and it was 12:03 (hardly important). Man does the above many more times until --- Man looks at clock later. It's 11:11. Man: Oh! How intresting! *remembers* Man repeats process. EDIT: Just googled selective affirmination whatever thing. Yeah, I got it right basically.

hey i see always 11:11 and its not only on clock i see everwhere this number like the address door, a police car , i walk behind a guy with a jersey 11, some people called me on cell that number are like 243-1111 i answer but nobody answer, it is more than a coincidence if u guyz dont believe maybe becuz u guyz never experience it and it must be a prompt Prompts are when something inside you causes you to look somewhere, and there is a sign. It may not be a clock, it could be simply a number painted somewhere. And, if you are full time looking for "signs" that does not count either

As I posted earlier I had a period where there were what seemed to be bizzare occurances of the # 10:22. One time the electricity went out & my alarm clock blinks 12:00 over & over. This one time it was blinking 10:22 Another time the talk show host said the time was 10:22. Why wouldn't you just say twenty after ten or ten twenty. Anyway, I still think it is coencidence along with what Me and Kaniaz say. along with the fact that my Acquaintances strated too notice the number too. Was it a sign for all of us?

I see the clock as 11:11 all the time. (As I'm sure I have mentioned in many threads on this forum in the past) I'm pretty sure it's not confirmation bias, because I see it everywhere. I even tried to make the computer clock invisible, yet after hours of not checking the time, I inadvertantly click the tray to find that it is 11:11. Happened more then a few times too, kinda freaky.

I just found some information from the other forum it might help you, no idea if it is true or not Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. Cognitive psychology would dictate that this "phenomenon" is simply you placing emphasis on a certain number and unconsciously looking for them. The power of the unconscious is incredible and takes in zounds of information without the consciousness clearing focusing on it - if this were not possible, then you would be barraged by all your senses all the time and would have a hard time consciously focusing upon anything. When the conscious places an emphatic connotation on a certain number or thing, the individual will certainly pay attention and point out the number when they see it, just like any other number or thing. This doesn't just apply to numbers, it applies to your everyday life and living. Let's say you like Mustangs. You drive down the highway and suddenly you unconsciously look to the other lane to see a Mustang (let's say you like it because of teenage adoration). Once you focus upon and realize what you are looking at, your mind can then register the process and think "Whoa, a mustang. What a coincidence - I was just thinking of one." My point is, you may have been just thinking of one because you unconscious saw it before you brought it to conscience. Carl Jung describes the conscience much like a lighthouse. The mind, like any other sense, will only focus on one thing, but it still receives information from all other angles. Thus, while paying attention to one thing (or illuminating one area) you may unconsciously view a matter in the haze beside you which would precipitate your conscience change of attention. The result - a "coincidence". Hopefully I explained this concept clearly, but it's rather convoluted. It's essentially confirmation bias. Keep in mind that I am an advocate of 111, however, regardless of my arguments against it - simply don't believe there's any "angels" attached to it. The number 11:11 is actually a common crop circal formation ive heard once on a ufo show that this probably has something to do with aliens. I have been trying to figure out what it means. I havent heard of any other numbers being in so many places thoe but it seems weird that 11:11 seems to be in alot of paranormal stuff.

This happened before i knew anything about the eleven eleven thing: About a week ago i had a dream. During the end of the dream i was trying to solve a ridlle that had two parts. I was strugling to solve it and i finally made it. The answer was eleven eleven(11 11). I then read somewhere on a paper that this was the ridle of the miracle of catembury. I asked out loud: Who is Catembury? At exactly that time my alarm clock ringed and i got up with a very strong feeling that i had received very important information. I got up and wrote the information 11 11 and the phrase 'the miracle of catembury' on a piece of paper. After a couple of days while i was at the library i thought i should search for the it on the internet. At first i searched for catembury and i found the name of a city(i think it was caterburry and not catembury), i thought that was quite random, i laughed and type in the search space '11 11 miracle'. As you expect i ended up(quite staned) in the web page of 11 11. As you can see the problem with your belief or disbilief on something is in the way you recieve the information. When you hear something from another person you can disregard it as false but when you are experiancing something on your own... Now that you know about eleven eleven you can't have an experience like that because you wouldn't be sure that it is not a circular psychological thing . but my circle has an open start and so it has become a truth. I dont want you to believe me because that would be faith without experience and so it would be blind faith. I dont believe all the details of the website but i believe the experience as it is and that was a quite powerfull lesson for me. I think i will come back to talk about that at another time but i will give you a clue about a truth(in MY opinion that derives from MY experience and consequently it is only MY truth): ' You can 'believe' blindly on something or you can 'not believe' on something and be just as blind. Both are the same wrong path. ' P.S: i think that this thread had destroyed for you the oportunity to have that experience because now you can't get away from the explanation of 'psychological circular thinking'.
