Thread: Interpretation of life

Everyones life is comprised of a series of memories, smells, and tastes all bring forth different feelings of the past and injecting the present with a new blend of life. People in life draw from past experiences most subconsciously, a fragrance from a tea that brings memories of childhood sprinkled with sugar and spice. The sound of birds sweet song and the smell of fresh cut grass in summer. To this day I can still revisit my childhood with these simple pleasures. The smell of sun kissed skin washed with salt water of the sea. Seagulls, crabs, sandcastles all reflecting freedom and love for life that will always be mine. A spell of life experience bottled in my soul summoned through memory.
Movies, popcorn, snowcaps shared in the dark with memories displayed on a screen become my own. A phrase an image that brings reflection and a stir of hidden emotion, surfaced with a smile or a tear.
Red wine by candle light, piano notes dancing across my memory. Thoughts of a childhood wrapped in love, dedication of family, past and future connected through a maze of memories that tell my story. Characters that might never meet but are intertwined in the creation of me. Every smell, taste, touch, person, animal, plant... everything has come together through a chain of experiences, another interpretation of life.
