trying to be popular is a waste of time. plus it's overrated.

ahyes, you're most certainly right. I'm popular, and I'm a bitch. there you go.

Not that I disagree with you guys, but sometimes you'd like to know how it feels is all. I'd like to know anyway.

"Popular" people arnt nice..besides you have to be "normal" to be popular..or a celeb. And being either one of them sucks

I'd much rather have a few true friends then a ton fake friends.

True, Luci. But I still sometimes wonder what it would be like to be popular and beautiful and rich and big breasted.

really. if you were a celeb people would never leave you alone. everything you do in your everyday life (along with lies and rumors) would be printed off constantly in stupid magazines. I highly doubt that being famous is all it's cracked up to be. same goes for popularity. think about it.

      Dear "Mr"...
      "Your Name Here"
      Don't think we'll forget
      how you managed to...
      Be so full of...SHIT!
It's just another day in L.A.
      Just another day...so I'll say...
Its just another day in L.A.
      Hollywood IS SO...FAKE!

      Tell us lies...we believe you
Close our eyes...we won't see you
Take our lives...if you need to
Suck us dry...let us feed you

      "Daddy" Dearest...
      with "Your Band"
      You really had us fooled
But you proved that with a doubt...
      Bitches rule the...WORLD!
It's just another day in L.A.
      It's just another day...so I'll say...
It's just another day in L.A.
      Hollywood is so...FAKE

      Tell us lies...we believe you
Close our eyes...we won't see you
Take our lives...if you need to
Suck us dry...let us feed you

Bury us in all you fabricated little schemes
calculated to be nothing like what it all seems
      Slander everything we stand for
      We won't compromise
and we promise that this revolution...
      Won't be televised

      Why....Would You....
Pretend to be on our side then publisize your lies
      When we learned the truth
then we were forced to recongize
It's just another day in L.A.
      It's just another day..so I'll say...

Being popular makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world, and you can pick a fight with everybody and win, and everything is fine and dandy.

But then one day, after your ego has enlarged to about the size of the Empire State Building, somebody always comes along and will quite happily deflate it for you, albeit in usually an embarrasing and not extremely nice way.

I say that out of asking a ex-popular friend.

It seems like young people in American are obsessed with being popular, from the movies ect. Its not really like that in Britain some people are more popular than others but im sure no one thinks, “yeah I wanna be popular.” I don’t anyway.

Does the whole “jocks” and “geeks” thing really exist?
He woke up; the room was bare.
      He didn't see her anywhere.
      He told himself he didn't care ;pushed the window open wide;
Felt an emptiness inside to which he just could not relate
Brought on by a simple twist of fate.

I didn't read this whole thing, but I would have to say:

What the hell is gravity and how does it work?

      -OR-

How are protons held together in a clump?

      -OR-

When is my frickin' 1964 Montgomery Airline coming?

not necessarily. I know the answer. the true answer. without a shadow of a doubt. but people can choose to believe it or ignore it.
But there is no absolute truth, so altough it might be the true answer to you it isn't necessarily the true answer for me or someone else.[/b]
By saying "You can never know anything for sure" you are contradicting yourself. Think about it for a minute, or maybe even two.

what is truth to me is not necessarily truth to you...if i view a certain religion as the absolute truth period, then to me, it is irregardless (yes, thats right, irregardless) of what you may or may not think, for the sole reason that i perceive it as truth...so yes, there is one absolute truth in my world and i could care less if your world has the same rules and stuff as mine...so there

      How about....

"Why don't bird's nests blow out of trees when it's really windy"

      or

      "Why aren't more people happy?"
This reality is like a goldfish bowl. The dreamworld is the same, but larger. It's easy to get lost.

That statement is logically impossible... check this out:

      "There is no absolute truth..."

Are you sure that this is "ABSOLUTELY TRUE?"
-See how that works (or DOESN"T work, I should say)?

Oh, I guess this idea has already been covered...

My question would be "How shall I serve you best, Lord?"
"By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me; a prayer to the God of my life."
