I've never tried to OBE, but what you are speaking of sounds like what Richard Bach described in his book 'One'

I believe, now, I may be wrong here, Xisdence is referring to the Akashic Records. The Akashic Records does indeed store the past, present and the predicted future, based upon what has already happened, and also stores every single thought. To quote Robert Bruce, a most talented Astral Projector:

I entered the state of consciousness called the Akashic Records. There I was inundated with a mass of symbolism. I was seeing in four dimensions at once. My conscious mind did not assimilate this very well. I saw wars, famines, plagues, disasters, earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, plane crashes, murders, etc. It was terribly confusing and depressing. Now, since Xisdence has merely thought "How about putting you signature in there?", he has already done it. Somewhere in the Akashic Records, right now as I type and as you read this message, a little statement is written saying: "Xisdence thought, 'Perhaps somebody could leave a special signature?'".

Also, a little statement is now being written into the Akashic Records as I think of sasuages. Every single thing in the entire universe is here. As you would imagine, that's an awful lot of stuff. It would take, I predict, several million lifetimes to read it all (and remember it). And being as a ton more is being made each second, including statements saying you were reading the akashic records, you would technically never reach the end of it. It would be impossible.

If you "tune in" to one of the symbols, you will suddenly appear there. If I tuned into the statement saying "Xisdence wanted somebody to leave a signature there", I will suddenly see him, in his room, thinking that thing and typing it, exactly as he did.

As for leaving a real signature with a pen, you can't. The librarian would be having absolutely none of that. Yes, there is a librarian. She (well, it might be a he, nobody really knows, and besides, it is probably of no importance in the Astral Realm), will give folks a "guided tour" wherever they want to see, but I doubt very much she would ever let you change the records of the past. She would stop you, and you just could not do it. You couldn't kill her and try either, and if you ever did (which is impossible), you'd probably end up distrubing something confusing and weird, like the fabric of time and killing everybody anyway. But, of course, nobody has tried yet, and nobody will ever be able to, so this may not be true.

interesting ideas Kaniaz, im still yet to digest what u were saying and i can agree about the never ending as thoughts act upon thoughts merely creating more records.......

i might post again on this subject later as i come up with more ideas but its one of the most curious things ive found yet............

with the Robert Bruce quote and the dogs of war which was saddam hussain 6 months before the gulf war 'apparently' this is a reading of the records from robert bought bak to us.....so if he had told the media about his astral travels then he would sort of create thought patterns in the astral that are the same but months even years apart in time.......so that gives u and even me the ability to traffic information anywhere we want depending on personal ability and possibility........The Akashic Records i dont know much about but what do u mean about a librarian??????

but the outcome of this so far is that tonight im going to imagine myself in the astral (so that these thought patterns are formed, i will use plenty of concentration to do them) and then use this as a stem for an obe to finally one day recover that thought form!!!and see myself in the past

This is where the fact that the Akashic Records future is based on predictions. It can change.

If Robert had told the media about a war or Saddam doing something, and they actually believed him, and so did most of the world, chances are the goverment would've watched Saddam more, and he wouldn't of started a war.

It is extremely hard for me to convey all the facts about the Akashic Records. The Librarian is part of the Akashic records. Don't ask me anything else about it, I was merely reading Robert Bruce's explanation and account of it, and I really have no clue. I'm that stupid.

Thought forms take (apparently), many many years to appear in the planes. However, the more people that think of it, the quicker it will appear. E.g:

A tatty peice of cloth in the corner of a house for 3 years will not have a decent thought form for a loooooooooooong time.

A amazing peice of art admired by millions of people will have a good, strong thought form.

Wow, Akashic Records... Really interesting stuff Kaniaz.. Can you get his book at a library?Hmm.. I don't really believe in destiny, and as you said prediction of the future led me to read more, because so many people tell me that everything is pre-destined, and I dont think so..
