      Why Did I Do That?

I think about this all the time and I've never really told anyone, may be I'm going crazy. Have you ever thought about all the times that you say to yourself "If I hadn't done this than this wouldn't have happened. Why did I have to do that?" Or if you said to yourself "Why did I have to make a right turn here and have a wreck? " You think "It's just my luck to turn that way and something bad happen" Now, have you ever thought about all those times you didn't turn right, you went left and nothing happened, good or bad. Just uneventful. How many times today did you take the turn or make the decision that made your life uneventful and you had no idea. Million times today you could have been a hair away from something bad or something good. You'll never know.

Or have you ever thought, "Wow, I'm glad I did that certain thing or made that decision a long time ago so that I got to where I am now" But what would have happened if you had chosen the other thing in your decision or went a different direction or whatever? For all you know you could have been a millionaire (or whatever it may be) right now, but instead you are average. So you should be mad at yourself for choosing what you did, but you dont know this so you are praising youself. But then of course you can think "Why did I do that? I'm doing terrible!" But what you dont know is that you would be doing a lot worse had you chosen the other option.

Of course I can ramble on all day about different ways things could have happened. These are just some of my random thoughts. I try not to think about this too much though, because I could drive myself insane, with these thoughts.

If you haven't seen the movie, you should definatly go see it. It has alot to do with what you are talking about.

I've thought about this before. Like my mom was asked in the Philippines if she would let me do a Johnson baby commercial (I was around 2 at the time), but she said no from some incredible reason. I think that maybe right now I might be a famous teen actor starring in a Filipino movie or maybe have still ended up here typing this message to you this very moment. Or maybe one thing would lead to another (domino effect) and I could be dead right now, or maybe be living with eskimos in an arctic climate region.

      Who knows.

Ah, that's the beauty of paradox. Speaking of paradox...

I once pondered paradox so hard that the world almost ceased to exist. I'm not kidding. Everything seemed to fade into nothing for a few seconds, then instantly came back. It was so strange.

Now that I have said it, it won't happen to you.
Ham Sandwich Theorem: Given n objects in n-dimentional space, it is possible to divide each one in half (according to volume) with a single hyperplane.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I did start recognizing how the little things can amount to something later. A similar issue is how thin of a reason is someone willing to go on, how big of a leap of faith, in fact I might scare some people with those.

      hehe

I used to this when I was a young boy by trying to fathom "nonexistence" in an existent manifestation.

I developed internal bleeding within my brain shortly after that.

Not oscarworthy material, but I loved the movie so much for the concept itself. It really makes you think to the point that you just put it all aside and just see events for what it is. Regretting what you did in the past is only because of your current perception of what you think your desires are. Regrets, in that sense, are not solid.

O, I hate that then you get stuck thinking about it and then I either feel sad or crazy, then I get over it. Something ironic, and I think would fit here would be to know when or how you will die. Then you would be trying to stop it from happening but in trying to stop it you have actuely caused it to happen.

You developed internal bleeding in your brain from trying to fathom non-existance? Can't internal bleeding in the brain kill you??

this is the single most irritating paradox i've ever come across.
At every single point in which something back happens, we dwell on what happens
if we had for example, made a left.
and thats all i have to say.
