in my world, yes...you know my position on these unanswerable questions, and i answer: yes ;p ...implications? i'unno, but it'd be neat ^^ |

OK, here is another unanswerable question to ponder. But first a few initial premises. |
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

well I believe you get into heaven by faith and not by works. |
Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
Wait hold on, you wouldn't KNOW that you were reincarnated right? If you could KNOW, then that would be tremendous. |
Of course you wouldn't. The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy has a guy who knows all his previous reincarnations and is more pissed off than anything else in the world, he's been a whale, bowl of pentuinas, fly, human, catepillar...He gets so annoyed with dying each time. |
I doubt it... and even if you could, I wouldn't come back. |

Early Morning Moment,
A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...
yeah, I doubt you'd WANT to come back... |

Re incarnate how. As a smarter you, a dog, or your choice? And when you say another lifetime. Do you mean here on earth or anywhere? A duplicate life a never ending life etc. |
He might, but I doubt anyone would want to go back. God will have conditioned us all to stay in heaven rather than to go back to earth, asuming this God is also Omniscient, then he would have made the earth with the knowledge that noone would chose to be reincarnated. |
I like Belisarius's theory.It sounds nice. |
You guys suck.
OK, let's turn up the heat a little. |

Hahaha! I just thought about it and I have no clue. |
I am not sure, but I think most people (or all?) want's to live in heaven, instead of the earth. |
Are you dreaming?
The grandfather clause is a legal application. I am not so sure that the omnipitant one would abide by our set of rules. |

He could reincarnate you if you wished to, although I personally would not come back. There would be no point for it. Why choose a perfect world where you would be with all of the people that you love(and are dead as well) and in the company of God, for this very imperfect and troublesome existance? |
If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
It is amazing to me to see so many people say that they would not want to come back. If, by your return, you would help one or many (and in doing so help yourself) would you still selfishly choose not to return? Remember, you are viewing life through the cloudy lense of this human machine. Once you are an audience member this play of human drama may not seem so terrible. |
I havent thought enough personally about an afterlife to decide whether i believe in it or not, but i have my humble thoughts. |
Eyes for the searching ones...
Aren't past, present, and future just part of human perception? |
I believe true love and Jesus' love go hand in hand. That infinite deliverance of it is just so amazing...(just had to say dat!!) |
naturals are what we call people who did all the right things accidentally
Reincarnation. I suppose while it would be nice to know you can come back again, perhaps without memories of your past life...but think of all the people claming they had been Joan of Arc in a previous life or something. I mean, there's no way to prove it unless we asked god/whoever reincarnated us. And we can't do that yet. |
