      An LD class for LD's

I think I belong in a learning disability class for Lucud dreaming. I have not been able to apply any of the new (to me) techniques that I have read in this forum. I can only use what I was first taught.
I began at a staggering pace but have now reached a plataeu.
Anyone else reach a standstill and know a way arount them?

What were you first taught, anyway?

I believe the field of Lucid Dreaming is far from being totally studied. (will anything ever be?) But, if you read around books (and forums) nowadays, and then analyze them, you can find the logic in which how to induce lucid dreaming. Experiment...experiment. You know the scientific method?

Well AiRick101 I actually had beginners luck for my firsy lucid dream. Now I have to rely on my concious realizing it is a dream through some abstract behavior. Which is far from consistant.

As with alot of things its not truely about knowledge, you can have alot of knowledge about LDing and have nothing at all, sure techniques are nice, but I think if you feel it all. you can develope your own little personal technique, it just takes passion, willpower, devotion, a strong soul to master the art of lucid dreaming. ^_^

I agree with Lucius on this Howetzer, but you have all that you need inside. Just be a little more patient with it and it will come to you. I think thats pretty much where we all stand on this. Sometimes we can accomplish LDing, but I think it's a waiting game sometimes and sometimes we have to let it come to us instead of pressing the issue. I've learned that the hard way myself. Shadow has been pressing me on Dream Sharing so much that I feel like I cannot do it anymore when before it used to just happen at a moments notice. Now I have to recondition myself to focuse the way I know is good for me and not let outsider's influence me, even family. You have what it takes just don't give up, you will do it again. Just remember to remember thats all.

Thanks Switch!! you are an awesome motivation for me. A very bright spirit in this Forum.
It is hard when you have done somthing and then lose it. Like that saying , "Is it better to have loved that to never have loved at all". Well that may hold true for love but I miss Lucid dreaming. With the vague and short lucid dreams I have I think I would rather not have them. Because I know what a vivid long one is like!
