Philosophy From The 16 Year Old Kid With Adhd

Im only 16 so heres MY THEORY BTW ITS JUST A THOUGHT!!! Assume you are dreaming right now. No. Assume you are Lucid Dreaming. Are we awake or asleep? What if our 3d dimensional everyday living life is just all a lucid dream. And another Earth is galaxies from us. One is Sleeping, One is awake. How could we be awake and lucid dreaming at the same time? Easy. If there is another earth exactly like ours in everysingle way even all the people, we could be sleeping and awake because if were lightyears away time is slower, according to Einstien in Theory of Relativity. This theory has holes but im just 16 give me a break ahha. So. We could just be lucid dreaming and each day is 365 times slower in our lucid dream then when we wake up when were about 100. Or what if were all dead all ready? i mean the bible(im no bible hugger I dont consider myself into major religion but, im just thinking.) You know how in the bible it says when we go to heaven we get new bodies and everything? and eternal life? Lucid Dreaming+Reincarnation+DeepSleep=that it makes sence! at least to me.

Just to clear up any confusion, before this thread goes any further, if we were lucid dreaming, right now, we'd know we were dreaming, and wouldn't have to question "what if?" Though your questions are, theoretically, sound, you are meaning to ask "what if we are dreaming right now, and don't know it?" Adding "lucid" to the question would contradict your point. Ok...let the conversation continue!

I can't be dreaming right now, because when I will the glass in front of me to come to my hand without me touching it, nothing happens; the glass just sits there.

Your theory isn't impossible, but it still is crap I am sorry, but this world is to consistent to be a dream, it is to 'solid'. I am sure it could be a dream in a way we can't imagen because when we are awake we turn out to be zorks on the planet fupdo, but by our knowledge and human terms we aren't dreaming. Also, even if we were, we weren't lucid, since no one really knows it.

The whole life-as-a-dream think appeals to me. I think you'd enjoy a conversation with a Tibetan monk. I won't even argue the second-earth idea, I guess it's possible in an infinite universe. Maybe its probable in an infinite universe. Hell, maybe it's guaranteed. Your relativity arguement however, would only work if one of the two earths were traveling close to the speed of light. It is true that planets move in their orbits, but nowhere fast enough... distance doesn't affect time. Nonetheless, a hell of an idea.

[/b] I "believe" in ADHD, but agree with your first statement. I have a friend who suffers from ADHD but is insanely intelligent. He has the quickest wit of anyone I know and is an amazing graphic designer.

I do know one person that has ADHD, and he isn't that smart (still smarter then average people I guess). He is mainly just slow. Maybe some people have 'adhd' and think quick (because of it), and some people have 'adhd' and think slow (because of it). Ur something.

10% of all people with autism (not sure how closely related adhd and autism are related) have savant syndrome. If you don't know much about savant syndrome, the movie "Rain Man" was made after the savant Kim Peek.
