      What is Consciousness?

Since there are millions of opinions of what they think it is, and no real answer. What do you think it is?

I can't really explain it myself really good but if you want to have an indepth understanding of it, you should read a book called
"lifting the veil on consiousness" by Jay Ingram. When i bought it, it cost me 5 bucks. Its not expensive and worth the read.

Nah, i'm just intrested in what other peoples thoughts are on this subject. Besides, i don't read books because half a page and i'm almost asleep, and i have a really hard time remembering what i just read. Read a few lines and think "what did i just read????". That's why i like message boards, short and to the point for the most part.

You are going to find it hard to get satisfactory answers to indepth questions like 'what is consciousness' if you don't read. Perhaps you could just stop reading in bed. Honestly, human culture is going down hill; there are too many people who take an 'eff that' attitude towards something as simple as reading a book.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

      eff that

If anyone is interested I have a bunch of PDFs about conciousness.
Once upon a time a disciple went to his guru and asked him, 'Guru, what is life?' To which the guru replies, after much thinking, 'My Son, life is like a fountain.' The disciple is outraged. 'Is that the best you can do? Is that what you call wisdom?' 'All right,' says the guru; 'don't get excited. So maybe it's not like a fountain.'
