If I recall correctly, the Big Bang theory says that there was a single molecule of something that exploded sending gasses everywhere in every direction or something. |

Also, wouldn't be extremly dangerous if another one of these exploded? |

Well, the thing about the big bang is its a theory, and like every other one it has holes. Its the best one out right now, but I try not to think in a linear sense. Unfortunately its next to impossible to recreate it exactly as it would have happened right now. Basically we are able to measure the velocity of the expansion of the universe, and work back in time. This brings us back to a point when seemingly everything was collapsed in on itself on an incredibly small scale. We just cant go back further, quite frankly we don't have the technology to measure energy/mass at that scale and we're unable to get.. 'before' the bang. I'm not a scientist all I know is this is where they are stuck. The numbers collapse. |

What if the next one of those things that is going to explode is under your bed? |

Planet earth is a micro dot on a micro dot on a micro speck in a micro section, somewhere in the incomprehensible infinity of the universe. |

I think what everyone is ignoring is that the Big Bang theory does not suggest that everything originated from a single point in space, but that space and time themselves were once as small as we are capaple of measuring (planck length), if the idea of measurement even makes sense in such a context. Space time is expanding, matter and energy are not; this is what the big bang theory postulates. |

Anteres is small compared to the biggest known star, i forget the name. Imagine when that star becomes invisible. |

It's said that after trillions of years when the universe dies, a new one could bud off of it. I don't know the exact physics of it, but of course you would have to think that the universe is ever expanding and won't die in some Big Crunch like event. |

similar, but far from the same. We understand the expansion of energy and of matter. We do not have a firm grasp on the cause or mechanism for the expansion of empty space time itself. Also, one can not accurately refer to before the big bang when time itself remains inside of the object of investigation. There is no before outside of what is included in the big bang and there is no outside either, as far as we know. |

I think TrES4 subclassed "Puffy Planets" discovered in 2007 is currently the largest known planet which is about 1.7 times the size of Jupiter. Scientist says that TrES4 is way bigger than it supposed to be considering it's mass. Basically it should be the size of Jupiter but it's twice as large. |

OP; we observe via various methods that galaxies are flying away from each other (for example, red shift). |
