Lol Jeff! Must be something with sleep and jeffs

Iam also a Jeff, like you are (if iam right) i am a natural lucid dreamer for 20 years.
I found a way to not get bored in lds i use selfhypnosis in my lucid dreams to control them.
I let my dream body fall a sleep in my lucid dreams by means of trance.
Then i go beyond rem sleep to the lower levels of non rem sleep and there i still lucid then.
till sleep becomes a near death experience and then i still stay lucid.
I had that all recorded with my own eeg machine for many years.
so i use lds only as a bridge to dive deeper into sleep and consciousness.
I also can wild with my mix from selfhypnosis and meditation to do the same and stay conscious
through all sleep levels till the near death experience, where all changes dramatically.

So use selfhypnosis and learn to separate your consciousness from your dream body
and dive with your consciousness deep into the deeper sleep levels.
There is a lot more out there to explore!
And trust me, a lucid dream was made to use selfhypnosis in, its perfect.
Both are stages of consciousness where association rules.
like two sides of the same coin, they link perfectly.

Jeff-Apple, Your post reminds me of Cahuilla shaman (I'm not sure where they lived--maybe SW North America). They practiced reaching different "levels of dreaming" by laying down in their dreams and going to sleep, going as deep as 13 levels and beyond. Perhaps I will see if there is more info on these "levels" here or on LD4all.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Perhaps you could make a tutorial on your method? If you feel it would be of benefit to others, of course--I know I would be interested.
