Thread: My experiences with Celtic and Norse Gods and Goddesses

I remember a few mystic experiences I had while chanting some of the Celtic and Norse mantra´s, let´s start with this one:

I was a devotee, and now again, of Morrigan, the Celtic Goddess of War and Death, her mantra is Om Sri Morrigan Namaha which means, I pay my obeicanses to Morrigan the beautiful, and somewhere in 2011 I was chanting this mantra, high on weed, and this happened:

¨I was sitting relaxed and chanted this mantra and suddenly I heard a girl chuckling in my mind, but it was not really in my mind, it was at soul level, I was thinking and experiencing this on the level of my soul! i was aware that there was a girl and she was flirting with me by chuckling, so I was flirting back at her and then she chuckled even more at me, so i was flirting back again, the strange thing was that she was me, and I was her! That´s why I knew it was at soul level, I was the one who was flirting with her, but she was me, I was flirting with myself! But i was flirting with her as a man! And she was me!¨

So this was a cool realisation, how could I be so connected with Morrigan? Is she my soul mate? I don´t know?

Next experience was that i was chanting Om Sri Brigid Namaha which means I pay my obeisances to Brigid the beautiful, Brigid is the Celtic Goddess of fertlity, that was in 2010 in Petit Han, a village in the Belgian Ardenen where I was living, I was chanting this mantra and i saw the following:

¨I was floating in a maze, there were only big plants around me and flowers and I was floating towards the inner sanction of the maze, at least, it felt that way, as I was coming closer to the centre of the maze I was having the feeling that I would meet Brigid personally, i was really excited and had a good feeling about all of this, and suddenly, as I was closing in to the centre of that maze, I heard a female voice, saying to me:¨

¨Erik, je hebt een vriendin¨

which is Dutch for:

¨Erik, you have a girlfriend¨

So I was distracted from the experience and then everything, the entire maze, dissapeared into nothingness and I cursed the female voice, how could she take that away from me!

Next experience is that I was chanting Om Sri Freya Namaha, Freya is the Norse Goddess of War, Love and Beauty, and then this happened:

¨As I was chanting, I had the realisation that I knew what I was about to think before I was really thinking all of this, it was a strange realisation, it took me to the depts of my mind, so I understood that there was a form of knowing what to think before you think it¨

Next realisation was when I chanted Om Ogmiox Namaha, which is a Celtic deity as well, and then this happened:

¨I was chanting this mantra and suddenly I felt a light but firm pressure on my third eye, the space between my eyebrows, and then I was thinking that I established a sort of communication between me and Ogmiox!¨

Would this be some sort of communication that Ogmiox wanted to establish?

Well, these were my experiences with the Gods and Goddesses,

Oh, and I have to say that I chanted these mantras in my mind, so not out loud, if you chant these mantra´s in your mind you will have the greatest benefits

I forgot to tell you about another experience I had, it was the first experience I had with the Celtic spectrum of Gods.

It was November 2007 and I was having a lot of mystical experiences in my bedroom in my house, my brother lived downstairs in the living room and I was under the influence of voices and a lot of inner visions, it was a very weird time and one day in November 2007, I was lying on the floor, don´t ask me why because i don´t know and I lied there until it became very painful, I couldn´t get up, that was forbidden by the voices and then I heard a voice telling me:

¨chant Hare Krishna¨

and I did and then I saw a guy in my third eye and he had two horns on his head, like a deer, and I heard a voice in my head saying:

¨Hertekop¨

which is Dutch for;

¨Deer head¨

and then something magical happened, I witnessed this scene from the past:

¨I was dancing around a fire with some other people, we were all chanting: ¨Om Cernunnos¨, the chanting was very rhythmic and enchanting¨

It lasted for half a minute or so.

I never heard of Cernunnos and looked it up and found out that he was the Celtic God of Nature, I was puzzled by all of this.

Later I found out that I had lived in Weris in a past life, Weris is a village in the Belgian Ardennes and is well know for it´s dolmen and megalithic stones. That explained my fascination with those dolmen, I always liked them. The first time I visited Weris in this life was in the summer of 2007.

I want to share with you how I ended up with the knowledge of the Celtic Gods and Goddesses, one day in September 2009, I was doing an interactive guided tour with the Shaman of Weris, a guy called Peter, and we went out to explore the holy sites of Weris, it was September 6th 2009 and at one site, the Pit of Visions, I closed my eyes and meditated there and suddenly i saw a creature of the forest looking at me in a very curious way in my third eye, like he was looking at me and was thinking: ¨Who is this guy?¨ and more things happened, I wrote a song before I was going to be a part of this interactive guided tour, the song is called Weris and I posted it in my Facebook page: ¨Cranial Orbitz¨ the page where I post all of my songs and I cannot sing, but these are concept songs., ideas, for future song of my band, Lilith Moon.

Anyway, after this guided tour I became very much interested in Celtic Gods and Goddesses and their mythology, I began to search online to find out who were the Celtic Gods and Goddesses and I came across Morrigan, Brigid and so on and from that moment on, somewhere in September 2009, I began to chant all these mantra´s, it was a magical journey.

And one day in the summer of 2010, I invited Maria, a friend of mine, to my studio in Petit Han and we would go to Weris, where I would show her all the dolmen and megalitic sites, we agreed that she would be sleeping in my studio while I would be sleeping in Radhadesh, so that happened. The next day, I already told her about a girl I once knew and that I killed her when I was living in Weris in a past life when I was a Celtic hunter, I came across this girl in the forest in that past life, wanted sex with her, but she didn´t want that, I was lying on top of her and she hit me in my face with her fist and when she ran away, I threw a spear towards her which pierced her back and she died.

Anyway, when Maria stayed in my studio after we went to Weris, she said the next day that I had weird energies in my studio and that she had seen in a dream that a girl was laid out in a dolmen, and she said that there was a flower in her dream on that spot, a rose that was growing in that dolmen.

I knew at that time that Maria had seen the girl I killed, was or laid out in that dolmen or was buried in that dolmen, the dolmen of Weris.

That girl that I killed was Diane, and about her I think that she could be my soul mate, but hey...... I know I killed her in Weris, I know that she was my daughter in the time of the Crusades when I joined the Templar Knights, and I sexually abused her in that time when I came back from the Crusades and later on I sexually abused her again in my past life as a pirate, Olivier Levasseur.

So now I think.......how can I join myself with her if she is my soul mate if I have done her so wrong?

Anyway, this is how karma works, it doesn´t forget anything!

I have to correct myself, Maria didn´t see a girl in that dream, she only saw a rose growing in that dolmen, so i made the conclusion that it was symbolic for Diane.

I just had the coolest experience while I was chanting Om Sri Morrigan Namaha, I was attacked by vicious thoughts, but by just observing them I could ward off their attack, I made a nice post on Facebook at 22.49 pm and it goes like this:

¨It is true, if you just observe your own thoughts, then you are withholding them the power they wanna yield over you!¨

Cool realisation, isn´t it? So I wanted to share this with you, because I think that with chanting these Celtic or Norse mantras you will have the nicest realisations too!

Oh, I have to say that these vicious thoughts are always coming to the one who is or chanting or meditating, it´s just a yogic thing that I had the strenght to ward them off, so I am giving you this ancient knnowledge, never be discouraged if you are on the yogic path, never give up the practice and never surrender to the negativity these thoughts may bring, whether you chant Vedic, Celtic or Norse mantras, it comes with the package.

And I have to tell you the most fantastic thoughts I had while I was warding off these vicious thoughts............while I was observing these thoughts I heard a voice in my head, one of these vicious thoughts saying: ¨Oh men, this fucker doesn´t react, it´s of no use¨

See how the mind works?

I am sorry that I have to correct myself again, the vicious voices said to be exact:

¨Oh man, this fucker doesn´t react, let him, it´s of no use¨

Ye, It's strange.

I'll share one experience where Voices where both rough and kind. I woke up from a dream and while my eyes are shut and I'm awake in bed I hear:

"Wow, they have Sky TV in hell.
And you, How did you like the show?"

I was watching Below Deck Sailing for the first time on the new Star Channel before falling asleep and I had a dream about the show in that night.

..
I can honestly not explain the nature of the voices. It seems like something is observing the same life I am observing.
...

So I awoke the past 12 months with direct communications as I am falling awake.

I saw an open bible in hypnagoic dreams as voices speak to me 2-3 times.. And it speaks to me in very posh Dutch.

I'll quote the last sentence I heard while awakening from dreaming ":En met uw kruis in uwe boedel gezet u voort uwe reis"
Accompanied by vision of a cross and a bible. As far as I recall.

The cross also means genitals in Dutch. I understand the dream to by ambiguous in its translation. It means be cautious and believe in my understandings.

I had more in a Biblic theme. Also Vedic. I think the Bible started becoming a theme because I watched a lecture on Bible studies. They mentioned Satan showing up in a vision of a two-horned monster appearing from a gap in the earth to one of the prophets (I cannot recall atm which character).

But also I am reminded of Pan the Horned goat of Greeks. I saw Baphomet in a dream (has horns). And I'm not the only one so he must have a global presence.

Since you mentioned a Horned guy I'll just share the Cross-Cultural similarities. The Celt druids probably knew and experienced something we are receiving remnants of in this Era.

wow, these experiences you have are very cool, man! I also have sometimes voices in my dreams, I think it is there to clearify some things of what we do in waking life, when you watched Below Deck Sailing and you got this voice in your head the next day you got a reaction from the spiritual side of you, very nice!

Sometimes these voices can be very misleading and can possibly trick you, at least, that is what I have experienced, so that is the negative side of it if you give them the power over you.

Yeah, the Horned God, I have to say that Cernunnos is the Celtic God of Nature, I don´t think Cernunnos has something to do with Baphomet since Baphomet has real goat horns on his head and Cernunnos has antlers (een gewei) on his head, so that is very different.

i don´t know much about Pan though.

I love Raja Yoga, I myself am a yoga teacher, I learned Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world in India in 1998 and 1999, when i stayed there for 10 months, first 4 months and then 6 months.
