NO, and this thread was about the radicals theist(or at least my posted parts); you are being one(Radical) on this atheist talk. Leo, you just tend to generalize things to much. But thats enough, I'm not one to talk of others, and so are you.

Everybody has a temperament, especially when it comes to religious debate. The fire is going to take the other fire out or engulf it eventually. Sometimes theists win, sometimes they lose, and it's totally unpredictable depending on whether conviction happens through emotion or intellectual obligation. I think this board has seen enough of that to change into still waters that is surprised by nothing.

I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't like alot of what
you say, Leo, but I believe you have the same rights to speak out as I, an Atheist, do.

I think you are defensive and mean. I also think that if you and I sat face to face, you'd
have alot less shit to talk about what I bad person I am for being an Atheist.
After 5 minutes we'd be asking each other tons of questions and would actually
begin to build a mutual respect. The faceless conditions of this forum seem to
make you forget that your generalizations insult alot of people who may not agree
with you, but, bear you no ill will for your beliefs.

You need to understand that I see things from the point of view of a Civilized Catholic. When I look around I see that EVERYTHING is now run by secularists from a secular point of view. Where you might see Protestants as being Religious, I see people who rebelled against Religion so that they would be 'Saved' from Religion -- notice that Protestants speak only of 'forgiveness' and tend to underplay any sense of moral responsiblity. That makes them effective Atheists if not admitted Atheists. So you see, from my point of view, everything is run by Atheists.

Indeed, just look at the Wars that the West is now imposing upon the Middle East against Cultures that resist the universality of secular atheism. If Atheists were not running everything, or trying to run everything, then why would they be so jealous of the power still being held by those Theocracies?

I just see this universe as I see a rock. It just is there, it has no goal, it are monecules, shaped in a certain way by time and phisics, chemical reactions. What is a human life? There is no point in life. If the earth was just a relative bit further away from the sun, we wern't even here. Nothing really matters.

However I allso have a brain that tells me that suffering of my kin(d) is 'not fun'. That tells me that warm/food/sex is fun. All ment for evolution, but (now) allso influenced by society. Showing people your behind is ofcourse inappropriate. But why really? But yet, for me it is 'truth'. It is right. Seeing it at a different level, what is the use compairing to the universe. Yet within a person brain a subjectivity that makes certain things 'good', for no purpose.

Even some atheist have a wrong view of evolution. We do not 'adapt' to our environments. We just die if not. Adapting is an active process. Evolution is passive. Or DNA doesn't think: Hey lets change. It just does becouse of mutations (UV-radiation and stuff). And if it's something usefull, less chance to die.

A computer simulation can just about Prove evolution, there is no way arround it. The only thing we don't know yet is how it started. Yet denying evolution would be blind.

You Leo are just formed by society, religion being a part of that, to a person that has a different 'truth'. Your truth is god. You say you are Civilized, well maybe you are, but like your faith the 'correct' Civilised way is created by your surroundings. Not by a higher being that goes trough every time like physics. God is subjective to time, becouse it is like society. People allready changed 'God' so much since the middle ages. The christians from 100 A.D. Are Completly different from the christains these days. Would they even appove of this way of christianity?

Yet my truth is my truth and your truth is your truth. So there is not really a point in argueing. I just hope that I am not as blind in my 'truth' as some christians that I so much dislike are.

I only know of two that are banned, some of the others, like you were given a temporary ban. I suspect the reason they have not returned is because they have had their feelings hurt. It is time for healing and feeling for Woody Stanford, but I'm sure that the winds of war will blow again. For now, no more "psych warfare" but just thoughts of honey pots and friends. I think I just want to walk around DV and see what interests me.

I think next time I'll align myself with the Faithbusters! because there is a great good, I think, that comes from throwing off the shackles of organized religion and thinking for one's self.

I am happy that many are seeing empty "faith" for what it is. Athiesm for the good man or woman is merely an oasis from which they might start their journey to define themselves, their purpose and place in the reality free from the baggage (emotional, mental and spiritual) that religion is infamous for.

Nirvana desired me to battle along side the Theists; in this came good I think. For balance, I think I would like to speak the Truth that the Athiests are in the posession of, of freedom and choice and insistance upon a sure foundation from which to build their concept of reality.

We'll see what happens, Carter, good buddy. Who knows? The future hasn't happened yet. The possibilities are infinite.
