Lets all open our mind for a moment and entertain the possibility that EVERY GOD IN HUMAN HISTORY actually exists. The titans, olympian gods, christian god, jewish god (NOT the same as the christian god), native american gods, etc, etc. ALL EXISTED.

What if they all chiped in on a bet to see which religion would prevail at the end of humanity. They also have the ability to change their "image" to the face of humanity. This would explain why the old testament god turned into a caring loving god to get more "votes" (hehe).

What if humanity is just a complicated game of chess for divine entertainment, as they watch on while we slaughter eachother in the name of the players (gods).

What if we are like an online video game for gods, like XBOX LIVE?

They also have rules, just like any board game.
1. They all get to start out with one prophet to get the game going. What the prophet does from there is up to him.
2. They cannot actually show themselves to humans. (sometimes while the other gods' backs are turned yahweh shows himself in a burning bush. Cheeter.)
3. If they land on a "send a prophet" square, they earn the ability to "spur" their religion again. This would explain Jesus and Mohammad.
4. They cannot interfear with human battles. (once again, yahweh cheats by throwing brimstone )
5. They cannot answer prayer.
6. If by a 100% vote, they get to "start over". This would explain the extinction of the dinosours and the biblical flood.

So, what do you think. Are we just some kind of entertainment for the divine?

Oh yea, one more thing. If the religion falls under a cetain number of "pawns" (people) the player gets knocked out of the game. This would explain the dissaperance of SO many other religions, like the Incan and Mayan religions (i think those arent present anymore)
