No, but we are SENTIENT. Sapient is SORT OF wrong. Sapient is OUR PERSPECTIVE of SENTIECY. Therefore, we are Sentient. But our perspective of our sentiecy is call sapient.

Not to nitpick, but arren't all animals sentient? I mean they all make descisions for them selfs :p

Wisdom is in the eyes of the beholder, Keeper. You lack the dog wisdom of making sure your territory is well marked. You lack the tree wisdom of making sure you are well rooted against the wind. Sapient is a human word to describe human characteristics and so of course we are sapient but all that means is that we think very highly of ourselves.

Imagine what ants think when they see us? not that they care, i always see them walking by me like there is no size difference. They show no fear, that's forsure. They also walk over your hand to the other side and continue on their route after walking off your hand. I usually flick them into the grass when i see them near my hand.
If we think they are small and insignificant, look at us compared to the universe...the univers is like a human, and we are like the ants.
