Hey guys,

Well i have been thinking about this one for a long long time. Since i go to Church every Monday i have noticed that often there will be some kind mention of maybe a sad member of the Church whose relative has died or is suffering.

Also you will see that on the news and other media, when there is an accident or someones relatives die. They will be incredibility sad yet, although you don't always know, some of therm are obviously strong Christians.

My question is. Why do many religions people still fear death so much? Say when their sick and dieing of cancer in their hospital bed, they are frightened, crying etc, yet surely they know they care seeing God soon, they are in pain yes but they know this is nothing compared to the joy they are about to feel. The other is that, why are relative so incredibility sad for so long when someone dies, surely it is Gods will and they have gone to this fabulous place( unless they are sinner or are not religious, then i suppose you know your mother, teenage son etc is screaming in pain as the flesh is pulled off his back..).

I know human nature is to miss relatives that are gone but if your religious they are not actually gone. Many will say their relative are watching over them. Is it doubt creeping in near death?
