You obviously know nothing about Ben Stein. He was a speech writer for Presidents Ford and Nixon long before he ever took an acting job.

Even though I will probably disagree with this film, I still love Ben Stein.

So a professional liar on many levels: I suppose that's a form of intelligence. He's mastered the art of saying nothing substantive while still convincing people to look at him.

That's hilarious, now that you mention it. Being a speech writer for Nixon isn't the best mark of honesty a person can have.

Being a part of Nixon's cabinet or someone who actually made decisions in his administration would not be a mark of honesty, but simply writing his speeches is entirely different.
