      Thoughts

Okay, so, they say that before the Fall there was no death. Right? But the reason that the Fall happened was because Adam and Eve were smart enough to realise that it would be beneficial to eat from the Tree of Life and live forever as gods. But they already would live forever. What possible use could a Tree of Life have been, except as a scapegoat for the Fall?

Also, I've noticed that Satan is shaky. He supposedly was an angel who sinned against God (while in heaven). But didn't God create people because he wanted someone with free will to love him voluntarily? How could Satan have done that? Angels have no free will. Satan demonstrates that sin is possible in heaven, even for a spiritual being. Therefore, there is still a drive to sin as a dead person in heaven. Eventually, you are going to sin. Then you will be kicked out, just like Satan. If sin is impossible in heaven, then Satan would have never been kicked out, and Hell wouldn't have been created to accomodate him.

      Just some thoughts.

Yea, Judaism makes no sense, we get it.

There are half a million threads that dissect it and it just goes into more insanity.

Such as the fact that God was the original temptor, satan told the truth to A&E, etc.

Uhh, no; the tree of life was perfectly fine to eat from. They were forbidden from eating from the tree of knowledge.

ah well at least the tree of knowledge made them sentient beings. If i were God I'd probably have given them sentience anyway,no point making a beautiful garden if your ultimate creation can not appreciate it;s beauty. It's like making a really good looking cage for your pet lizard. You've spent loads of times arranging those fake plants you bought, making hills and hides etc. But your lizard really can't understand or appreciate that. It seems to me God wanted them to eat from the tree of knowledge in the end. He programmed them as such.

This meaning can be brought out by the alternative translations Tree of Knowledge of Good and of Evil (the word of not being expressed in the Hebrew) or Tree of Knowledge, both Good and Evil.

i was speaking as if that was true, it's a tree of knowledge of everything, not just of good and evil definition wise.

And christians have been following that rule ever since! I still find it ironic that knowledge was the reason sin came into the world.
