I am posting on topic elsewhere for the most part.
My DJ here at DVs, Realized Aspiration only contains old dreams. I'll be around for the occasional chat, and some unfinished/unstarted RPs.
And you, yeah you, with the ice cream hands. You, yeah you, are my friend. ~ Still my mentor, and an awesome guy.
Ha. I hope at least the doctors in that area aren't taking this seriously. It's obvious to everyone else how this happened. |

If she can manipulate them, they should wait on the surgery until she can decide for herself. It doesn't sound like its an immediate emergency and I have to say, I think I would at least like the choice to keep 4 extra limbs. Maybe she'll become a woman-spider superhero. Or maybe she really is a reincarnation of Vishnu and she'll be pissed once she becomes enlightened and realizes someone lopped off half the body she's used to having. |

I doubt she can manipulate them. I don't think I've ever heard of a case like that where the person could... I mean technically those arms aren't hers at all. The extra limbs are probably also getting in the way of normal development of the rest of her body. But I guess they should all be extra nice to her just in case. |

If you read the article, she can't walk or crawl and doctors predict she wouldn't live through her teens without surgery. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
And seen similar things on television, the internet, and in books, and it sort of makes me think back on what I learned about the Hinduism, and the paintings of the Gods Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, etc. It may be possible that they were people who actually existed in ancient times but, instead of looked down upon, feared, or thought of as demonic creatures (in which some religions will revere persons with deformities as...), they were viewed as people with extraordinary abilities, or Deities. I dunno, over the years those have just been my thoughts on this subject. Anyone else here ever had any similar thoughts? Or am I all alone here? |
