At one point after I had read the bible, tons of christian apologetic books, and a few critical religious books, I began to have serious doubts about Christianity; The religion I had been brought up in since day one. Things just didn't make sense. I talked to my preacher about it and every Christian person I knew but none of them could quell the contradictions and serious flaws I found in the Bible and my religion. I read about the story in the Bible where the boy asked god to show him a sign to prove he was real, and god showed him one. I thought that God loved me just as much as he did that boy from the Bible, and that he would really want to show me that he is real, so I prayed for over an hour asking him to show me a sign. Just a piece of cloth under a book in my bookset. That's all I wanted and I would believe. Just a small sign like that. After the hour of praying, with full faith that a piece of cloth would be there, I looked and nothing was to be found. |

Maybe, but I think religion shouldn't be in schools. Whether it's a teacher trying to prove God exists or doesn't, or it's some teacher wanting to preach, nothing to do with religion should come out of a teacher's mouth in school, or be discussed by teacher/student. Unless, it's a private chat or something. If I went to a school where a teacher tried to prove God doesn't exist or does exist, I'd probably tell him/her to shut up and teach something real. Until he/she can get some cold hard proof God doesn't exist, he/she shouldn't be opening his/her pooper. |

If this story has any glimmer of truth to it, it probably involves an atheist professor who would drop in innuendos during a history class or something in which a student challenged him on it one day. And that's a huge IF. Most likely it is a complete fabrication. |

What a piece of crap video. Obviously made-up Christian fiction. With some horrible music to go along with it. Concluding: Christians are idiots. |

What use is believing in a God that you can't be. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
