      Dream Song

The other day after waking up with a song stuck in my head, I realized the song that was stuck in my head (which I remember recognizing in my dream) was also playing when I woke up.
Obviously this wasn't a co-incidence - It's possible to listen to music whilst being asleep.

Well, Ok... thats nothing new. But the idea hit me:
If we're able to consciously listen to music in a dream, then why don't I create a song with the main lyrics being something like ''remember that your dreaming'' or ''make a reality-check'' (in-fact it could be just words without music) and then set it to play early in the morning.

If everything works as planned, assuming that the music starts to play while I'm dreaming, I should hear the lyrics and then question if I'm dreaming. Thus causing lucidity!

      ---

So what do you think? Have any comments or suggestions?

I think this is plausible but there is a flaw in my opinion. Most of the time you just hear the words but dont really understand them. I have however many times dreamed of something they were talking about on tv in the morning so I guess I dont really know, I think it could work.

Shortly afterwards I realized there is already such a method which goes in-line with this - It's called EILD (externally induced lucid dream).
Yes, moongrass. You raise a good point.

eild, yes but If its what im thinking of you still have to train your brain to recognize it, so I dont really think its a shortcut and instead you have to rely on something external so I would just say learn to lucid dream with more average methods.
