Strange phenomena in my friend...and me!

My friend, who is turning 10, exhibits very strange sleeping and dreaming phenomena.

      1. Never gets a lucid dream usually, and gets them at the most unlikely of times.
He could become a master at WILD, if only he could lucid dream. He's into Star Wars, and reports that he purposefully wakes for 10 mins at 5 am, and then goes to sleep practicing what resembles a WILD method, and has dreamed for Star Wars incessantly for A WEEK. The problem is, he absolutely forgets about everything in the waking world once he starts dreaming. In contrast, he always goes lucid in nightmares and make tornadoes, a-bombs, and invading armies disappear.

      2. Total amnesia while sleepwalking.
He could get up in the night, turn on all of his brain except working memory, reply to questions, and forget everything after he wakes up the next morning. Though I've never tried waking up in the middle.

      3. Dream recall on a natural basis.
He remembers at least one dream per night without training.

      I experience the opposite:

      1. Easily do WILDS
Most of my lucid dreams come from WILDS. They seem intuitive to me.

      2. Never sleepwalk

      3. Only remember lucid dreams or bizarre dreams.

P.S. maybe it's because he is queer.

      1. Loves composing, and 300$ software's 15-day trial goes for half a year.
He loves composing music, and has both Overture and Sibilius Score on his computer. Well, without any hack, the software's trial just doesn't expire.

      2. He loves politics.
It is pretty strange for a ten-year-old to ponder about the consequences of a second Korean War or a full retaliation of Iraq on the US.

      3. He learns about science.
Nobody would expect that he knows about diffraction and interference of light, and Doppler's effect.

By the way, I'm almost 13. (in case you wonder why I have such a friend)
