REM Detector

Hi, I've had some ideas recently for an REM Detector, but I need some help. My main problem is I need a sensor that can read brainwaves, the rest I will do. (Programming, circuitry, etc.) So, all I need is the name of this detector I need, and possibly where I can buy it, thanks!

And to answer your question isn't exactly easy with how much details you are giving, what do you even plan to do?
The only thing coming to my mind with that few details are the few detectors used by Lucid Scribe, look here and scroll a bit down, you might find what you're looking for there: Lucid Scribe

Well then as said you might be searching for an EEG, like the Mindset or the Emotiv EPOC, both mentioned on the Lucid Scribe site I posted.
