      The 7 planes - astral travel and drug use

      NOTE TO ADMINS: If this post is against rules of illegal drugs or anything, please feel free to go ahead and delete it.

      ---

      I have recently been reading some personal experiences on erowid.org of the drug DMT. (DiMethylTriptamine).

      A long while back I read about the relation between lucid dreaming and OBEs, which explained to me about the 7 planes of existence, and that to break through each plane, your astral body must vibrate faster to get up the 'ladder' of planes.

      So, whats all this got to do with DMT I hear you say? Well;

      Upon reading several accounts of peoples' experiences on the drug i realised that every trip takes you to one of these 'planes'. Most people who trip on this drug all end up in the same place - this kind of 'underground dome'. Some people break through into further planes, one account i read even claims that they got through to the 7th plane!

      Now i'm not asking any of you to go out and score some illegal drug and go trip on it and tell me what happened, i'm just asking that some of you people look into personal experiences on DMT and try and resolve why there is such a strong relation to the planes, could DMT even be a shortcut to astral travel? Allthough, to the people out there who HAVE tried DMT, please, share with us your ideas on what the relation is.

      If you'd like me to start you off looking for some personal accounts, i advise you go to Erowid Experience Vaults: DMT.

      Here we go again. Yes, drugs are the "easy ways" to experience different planes of existence, including the astral plane. But this is not worth it, because one is able to experience them with enough practice, without having to use any types of drugs. Drugs make one addicted to them (hallucinogens actually don't provide physical addictions), but one is unable to experience these realities without using them again.

      And, yes, DMT is used by persons unable to astrally project without any "outside" help, but the control of the astral body is completely out of the user's hands. Same thing with the hallucinations provided by the drug.

      The seven planes of existance and Astral Travel are very intrigueing topics. They both should be sought after both seperatly and in conjunction with one another.

      To obtain this via the way of drugs is not a message we would like to send our viewers nor is it the the proper portrayal of the experimentation that we would like to conduct in the Research Team.
      So rather than deleting this post If other means can be found to elaborate on this idea it would be well appreciated.

      Thank you
