Thread: What the transitional dream state dimension looks like.

Before finding Dream Views, my ability to lucid dream was mostly a secret, as others did not show interest, or did not believe me.
I used to be able to wake up in a dream, as soon as it was clear enough for concious thoughts to occur.
No reality checks, no night time preparations.
Then I joined DV, there was a ton of reading, and extra learning to go through.
Lots of funny, crazy people on here with loads of interesting dream techniques.
A few weeks ago I started a new method of meditation, and have since noticed that my ability to wake up in dreams is getting a little too good.
Not that I can wake up in a dream, and have a lucid experience.
I can now wake up into what looks like another concious state. I am calling it an extra dimension for fun
It starts with self awareness, so at this point, I know I am sleeping, but not much else.
From here my vision starts to kick in.
I always see exactly the same thing. It is like a sea of black/grey blobs which are constantly in motion.
I can stay in this state for a short amount time, but it is a rather tedious place to be
From this point I can start a dream off, but because I have not had much practice, the dreams tend to be short.
The last choice I can make is to wake up, and see if I am still alive.

Has anyone else been to this extra dimension/state
Or have you had any similar experiences ?
