Question i want to try..... is this possible?

SO i would like to know if it is possible to interviene in a lucid dream world- to where if you can go into someones dream(after they agree and accept) to where you sleep and they sleep and you have the same dreamish dream(obviously not the same dream for you are in your own shoes and you view and choose your actions as do they) is this possible????? i would love to do this(all in safe an observation of another person in my dream that can respond to me telling them that i no i am asleep and im in this world as i sleep- and for them to not look at me like a wierdo and then look kinda evilish)

Hi Heather, i'd love to try this with you. I'm quite interested in seeing if it's possible as well. I'm from Australia, so hopefully you're in roughly the same timezone...

This is called dream sharing. I'm not sure if it's ever been scientifically proved possible, but many people (including myself) believe in it. I have read some accounts of it also, including one from a friend of mine:

The next morning she tells me at breakfast that she had a dream and that i was in it. She said she was on a train traveling through El Salvador (in central america--ie Jungle!) and that i came up to her and tapped her on the shoulder--and then just faded away, physically.

After that we came up with a code word for when we meet in dreams. Now, this doesn't mean that everytime "she's" in my dreams its my actual conscious grandmother--in fact sometimes thats how i know i dreaming---

      but what i'm saying is,

i think its possible that we don't have to be alone while lucid.

i have no methods for inducing this, sometimes it just happens. But its facsinating when it does.
Also, there is a thread here and one here on this topic. Just use the search function and you'll find more.

A little psudo science. Theoretically for two people to share a dream they would have to have a psycic or other not understood connection. One plausible way for this to happen is with identical twins, they sometimes exhibit nearly ESP like tendancies with one another. Another more out there is quantum entanglement, theoretically if two people had brain matter made up of matter that had once been very close on the atomic scale, one brain could mirror the other. It may be possible for two people who are emotionally very close and have the same external stimulus to have a shared dream. There are brain waves that we currently don't know what they do, so the human brain is an open book with blank pages here and there.

I would like to experiment with this too. I believe that our energy while dreaming intermingles with many peoples energy. More so with people that we are close to but not exclusively.

I'm from australia as well (brisbane) so that's at least two of us in the same time zone. I've been having a blank with lucids for the last couple of week, but my dream recall is still very good and generally i will have at least two lucid dreams a week.

Would it be possible for us to summon each other, to somehow call each other into our dreams? Should we work out something to give each other or say?
