      Visual stimuli for HI

This came to me of a topic in a post called Thinking outloud by Phallam. Which in itself has some nice ideas!!

Words were invented for the purpose of sharing an idea with another, so if the original idea in unadulterated by being put into words then it remains a pure thought that hasn't been formatted for transmission, making it more easily understood my its creator, the thinker. If that makes any sense at all... it has kind of gotten a little garbled by being put into words
      Producing Hynagogic imagery

Quite a simple stent of research but it could prove to be worth it.

Anyone participating please post with your results.</span>

      1. Using the approach described above by Mickeys_elbow, try to ponder over whatever thoughts you want.
(appropriatly it would make sense to ponder over somthing about dreaming or Lucid dreaming, or a thought you would like using to incubate a particular dream.)

      2. Time limit. Since I have not tried this before going to sleep the time limit canbe set by oneself. I am shooting for at least five minutes. It is harder than you think!

      3. Outcome. To produce more vivid (HI) by using visulal stimulation before the onset of sleep.
Also with a focus at hand this may help lead into a WILD as well instead of the famliar falling to sleep

I tried this before going to sleep last night and had 6 remembered dreams. I'll keep it up to see if it is continues.

Now that I have looked at this idea in those terms, words, sentences, and literacy, I have realized that when I reach a deeper state of hypnagogic imagery that this is exactly what is going on.
I have tried this over the past few nights.
It is difficult to do without your mind taking over and putting words in your head. But it has seemed to get me to a hynagogic state sooner than that if I were just to lie there and relax.

It also makes me realize how much you talk to yourself in one way or another even though it may not be out loud.

I did have several the first night and one LD the second, but it is a little early to attribute that towards any succes that I have had dreaming.
      Time will tell
