These are not the same people as the first batch.

NAME Should be modern, first and last names, avoiding fantasy. Names like 'CHIDE WOODGRASS' will be shunned and mocked.
GENDER Male or female, I suppose. Let's not go too far into roleplay.
RACE/ETHNICITY You're all human. White Caucasian, for example. Not that I'm saying you should be white. I'm just...it was an example...
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN Uh...England...Wales...Scotland...Ireland...there may be more countries in the world. Check Wikipedia.
PERSONALITY Generalised details. All characters are assumed to be desensitised to combat to some degree and are disciplined.
SPECIALISED ROLE See Specialised Roles below.

The Specialised Role has a purpose. Remember that.
It also gives me a suggestion of what sort of role you see yourself filling on the Island, and will influence your past and your skills at various things.

It is, however, a different thing to the Archetype. The Specialised Role is something you were trained to fit.

O F F I C E R A leader. Determination and authority are the Officer's main assets. Average in combat. Armed with a handgun and melee weapon.

G R U N T An average, all-purpose soldier. Largely desensitised to combat. Able to take commands. Armed with an assault rifle and handgun.

S N I P E R A lone-wolf, often detached from others. Exceptionally desensitised to combat. Proficient at long-distance combat, not so able at close range or hand-to-hand. Armed with a sniper rifle and handgun.

M E D I C Superior ability at medical practition. Below average at any form of combat, though still above the average citizen. Calm disposition when working, even under fire. Carries medical supply kit. Armed with a handgun.

Well, if we do need to use the bathroom, I vote that there's an outhouse or hole in the ground on two sides of it... I rather don't like the idea of someone watching you take care of those needs....

You made this very hard on me Siи, so many choices and possibilities. You know I like to analyze every possible avenue before diving in.

All new character submissions - and I would like some - should follow this new system until told otherwise.

Can I secretly create another DV account and join so that I have extra influence?



Also, do new people joining get flashbacks?

The status and backstory of the new characters is entirely different. What they decide to tell you is up to them.

They will not be introduced for some time, however. Still need you to figure a few island facts out, first.
