      The 11th Hour

      This is a well-made (at most points) movie about climate change, featuring Stephen Hawking, Mikhail Gorbachev, James Woolsey (former head of CIA) among others, narrated by L. DiCaprio to throw a little naivete into the mix. Perhaps there are some here who will be glad to have been referred to the link:

      Watched the first minute or so and got sick of all the ridiculous scary images of floods, starvations, disease and lots of other things which have occured regularly throughout human history, long before we started using oil. In my opinion it does step firmly into propaganda once you start showing quick successions of images which run in a sequence of human disaster, EXHAUST PIPE, human disaster, POWER STATION, human disaster, OIL FIELD, human disaster, MOTORWAY. None of those people you mentioned are climate scientists so I don't really care about what they say.

      Ofcourse it's propaganda. I linked it because I think the movie is quite good nevertheless.
