I wrote a learning bot a while ago-can't remember why I never made a thread for it on here, but here it is! It's still technically a W.I.P., but you can still play around with it and stuff. There are a couple problems I have run into using it: namely, enormous output at some points and a few other unforeseen bugs since the behavior of the program is totally emergent-such as repeating symbols and the like. Once I fine tune it I'll throw it up on a website with a supercomputer so everyone on the 'tubes can teach it to say rude things in whatever language they like. 8D RAR D/L How to use: Open the program Go to file->new robot Set the Grammar and Relevance grades-- with Learning Mode OFF these tell the computer how GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT and RELEVANT its output were. With learning mode ON, these tell the computer how grammatically correct and relevant the current input is going to be, relative to your last input. Learning Mode Toggle is under OPTIONS AutoSave is recommended, and can be found under options. When a robot file is loaded on startup, auto-save is AUTOMATICALLY on. Learning mode does not carry into saves, so if you want to keep a bot in learning mode, you will need to check the box whenever you pull up the file. Comments down there \/ \/ plz. Is that a new version from when you gave me it ages ago? I'll still DL that one anyways, because my folders are so messy. but I'm still curious.
