rock some zelda and stay locked in a dark room for 8 hours and you'll know the glory that follows having a nintendo.

I still play my super nintendo all the time. Recently its been at least once a day. I've been working my way through FF3 (6 actually) again. SNES is IMO the best console of all time and Zelda a Link to the Past is one of my favorite games.

Anyone got a list of favorite SNES games?

      Mine are :

      The 2 mentioned above.
      Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2
The Lost Vikings 1 and 2
      Super Mario World
      Killer Instinct
Tetris 2 (This game is very cool, mostly for the puzzles.)

there are probably more... I just can't think of any right now. I'm glad that I still own most of the above list. Chrono Trigger is lost to me though . I'm glad that Blizzard made The Lost Vikings for GBA as well, I just wish someone would do the same with Chrono Trigger... oh it would be so nice!

I used to play Super Mario Bros CONSTANTLY.

Then my exhusband used to always bug me about playing computer games with him. I would always say "nah." But he would beg me, saying it would be good for our relationship. Which I agreed with, if it were anyone but him. He was sooooooooooo damn competitive with me with everything.

So finally one day I said, "OK I WILL! How about Super Mario Bros?" He said "sure." So I kicked his ass on it. And for the rest of the day, he made like 100 excuses as to why I beat him. Stupid fucker.

      Never played wth him again.

hey now, there's a fine line between defeat, sticky buttons and a glare on the screen!

also, my roommate is a douche when it comes to games. he wouldn't split the cost of a gamecube with me so i went in with another friend on it... the first day i brought it back the friend and i played zelda 4 swords for about an hour... then my roommate gets in, flips out that i got smashbrother's melee then plays it by himself in the dark for 9 hours. then about a week later after he's worn out a controller i play him... having played the game for the first time... he kicks my ass of course... but after such i dont hear the end of it for a week.

I got a few new games.

X gave me his Starfox, and we went to Game Exchange (my new favourite store :0) and we got UN Squadron, and Lost Vikings 2. Game Exchange has a buttload of super nintendo games, it's awesome.

I've still got my SNES, and my N64, and a while ago, I added a Gamecube to the collection. I've only got like four disks for the 'cube though: Simpsons Hit n' Run, Zelda Windwaker, Smash Brothers Melee, and Soul Caliber II. I played Melee more than anything -- until I got SC; then that was the fighting game of choice. And SC is like a dark, edgy Melee...it's great.

Super Nintendo is perhaps the greatest console ever. Super Streetfight II, Out of this World, Super Mario Bros = awesomeness.
I have them all on emulation though.

I used to think that, until I played it, the game simply wouldn't work if it was realistic, you get used to them, I was a little dissapointed after finishing it to see the new Cube Zelda taking a realistic look. In fact, after playing it, realistic games just don't draw me in as much as they used to.

Oh, and the fact that you work out doesn't change the fact that you need to get out more.

that;s no excuse for horribly crappy graphics.

I can't believe you even gave it a chance to "get used to it". I walked into a room where someone was playing it, watched for no more than five minutes, left, and that was it.

Hey, I like cel-shading! It made it very cute and cartoony, which I also like (as if you couldn't tell). And I just like Zelda. If you want to talk crappy graphics, the NES had some crappy 8-bit graphics. They may have been great for their time, but now they're just flat pixelated blobs.

      I always give things a chance...even sitboy.

Well at least they fixed the graphics I guess for the new one. Though it does keep most of the wind wakers charm. From what the new trailer shows, it uses the fluid movements, which made the Cel-shading okay, but manages to make it work with realistic graphics.

seriously, you really don't think that's a tad too much?....it's either a bit obessive or horrible time management...i mean you could be doing something better than spending 80 hours on a single video game and beating bowser for the 500th time.....
