If a blind person could lucid dream could they be able to comprehend light? |

Okay, so I've had a couple drinks but... I've been thinking about light lately. I mean in assosciation with dreams that is. In real life we need light to be there in order for us to see things., but in a dream somehow we are able to replicate the sensation of light. Almost like creating something from nothing. I wonder what a blind person's dreams are like... |

So many variables, so little knowledge.
Our eyes are not capable of seeing in darkness, thats a fact. The human eye just can't very well (as opposed to lets say some animals). But people often forget that we don't 'see with our eyes' , the eyes are simple transferring stuff. Its the consciousness that perceives and puts things into an image. Simply, its a weird idea that everything you see is simply a picture in your consciousness. (its there, but thats how we see it). Now when you dream, the eye no longer picks up info..so it must be only the consciousness that is seeing directly, without a 2nd party. So, in theory shouldnt a blind person be able to see? I mean, its his eyes that are not working, not his brain/consciousness. |
