Hey, minna, I just found the Mother of All Avatar Galleries: http://www.digik.net/avatars.php?x=series

It's got tons of anime and even plenty of non anime ones, i.e. Celebrities, Disney, etc.

They're all decked-out with photoshoppy shading and tinting, and some even have witty comments -- especially the Miscellaneous section.
