I used to enjoy discovery channel, but all I am discovering there lately is horrible programming. First they give Cody Lundgrin the ax, now it's this poorly done Russian Yeti thing that resembles The Blair Witch Project. Jeeeezzz! |

It was a really awesome network in the 90's. It was all about science and nature. They showed really trippy documentaries on a regular basis. TLC was the same way. The History Channel was excellent until a few years ago. It showed really cool history documentaries all the time. While I'm at it, MTV and VH1 used to be excellent networks. Those are all pathetic networks now. I hate what happened to them. |

You are dreaming right now.
Nobody watches those channels anymore. Find some good science shows on Youtube and watch them instead. Television is dying, you should be happy. |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

YouTube channels typically don't have the budget or resources to make top documentaries. The BBC still makes decent documentaries (they tend to be on BBC4 in the UK) and the nature footage is amazing. TV isn't dying and neither are informative TV shows, it's mainly just a weird American problem. |

YouTube has a lot of really good documentaries that were made for the once cool networks. |

Foodnetwork is getting worse too. |

Good to see I'm not alone on this. It is like the fall of MTV etc. Good origional concepts turned to crap after a few years. |

Thanks. Senseless Banter doesn't have the like system. |

I think there is too much scripted"reality" shows nowadays. NatGeo still has some good nature shows a few times a year and hey.....SHARK WEEK is coming up. That is usually interesting untilled they and some scripted docudrama in the line up. |
