Well.....he purposesly hasn't, but my point is: How can a douche bag like that get everything that many people, not me, strive their whole lives to achieve, just by doing a crappy impresion, of a crappy song in a crappy show?????????

I hate him with all my being!!!!!!!!! He is just so.... there isn't a word to describe him!!!!!!!! The worst part is he didn't go there to make an ass of himself, he went there to be the next American Idol, not realizing he sucks so much, he could easily be a industrial strenght vacuum cleaner!!!!!!! Aren't you being just a tad jealous? You have no idea how hard this person has worked.. all you know is that because he sang on a show he's getting lots of perks. I believe wonderful, fortunate surprises happen to people who have good karma and deserve it, even though we may not see it. How do you REALLY know he doesn't deserve it.

...im fine with him getting fame money etc. that deosnt bug me at all...but what i understand is hes being accepted into harvard just because he did this...that bothers me...

I am just pointing out how screwed up things are when there are people that work their butts off to just get into Harvard, let alone to recieve a scholarship, and also to get signed by a label and make a CD. These aren't easy things to get, and I just think it isn't fair to people that are really struggling and really are talented and deserving of such merits. He did nothing but make a fool out of himself, and become america's pet.

He might have worked his ass off to where he is in life, or to achieve whatever he has, but he should know it himself, he doesn't deserve this. I could be happy for him, I could say I am glad he got rewarded by life, but I can't. I won't. I refuse to. It is just a perfect example of social decay and complete lack of justice. If he would have won the lottery after a hard life I would be happy for him, but I just can codone or even begin to understand why we should reward the deficient and idiotic.

I think you misunderstood my point, or I didn't make myself clear (most likely). When I was talking about him working hard and winning the lottery, I meant it literally. I don't have any indication that he has or hasn't worked hard. Let pretend he really has. If he would have won the lottery, I wouldn't have minded so much. But winning what he got by the means he got it by is a joke.

My point is no one, as smart or retarded, as rich or as poor, as hard working or as much of a sloth, deserves to get anything for making an ass of himself the way this "man", and I use the term loosely, did.

You are right, keeping that scholarship in Harvard will require hard work and skill. I do have a question about one of your statements though. You say that they wouldn't have let him in if he wasn't smart, which is true, but my question is: Besides the whole American Idol incident, what has changed to make him worthy of a scholarship to Harvard? Nothing. Then why didn't he get it before???

It just makes me mad that he got it because of the show, and not because of real merit. If he had never done the show in the first place the greatest posibility is that he wouldn't have gotten the scholarship ever.

I think it's stupid that they treated him that good, though. And not only is it stupid, but as wierd as this sounds, its completely mean. If you can back up that statement with true facts Mr. Bearer of Truth (meaning you know his GPA and you have tested him intellectually and you have confirmation from Harvard that he wouldn't have gotten in otherwise) I will believe you. Do you have that evidence?? If you do, and what you say is true... I WILL AGREE WITH YOU. If you don't have proof... then if I were you, I would refocus my energy in a more positive way.

First of all I don't mean to fight about this, in fact I think its hilarious.

Second, for the last time I AM NOT JEALOUS!!!!! I would like to have a scholarship to Harvard, cause its a good place to study psychology, but its not something I would like due to the fact I am only studying psychology cause it is interesting and helpful towards life, IMO. I will probably not be a pychologist. So truly I personally don't care.

Third, DID YOU ACTUALLY WATCH THE VIDEO??????????? HE WAS THE GEEKIEST ASSHOLE WITH THE CRAPPIEST VOICE I HAVE EVER HEARD!!! PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU WEREN'T FALLING ON THE FLOOR AND ROLLING OUT OF LAUGHTER WHEN YOU SAW THAT!!!! I KNOW I WAS, ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!

Yes, he thought he had a shot, which tells you just how smart or gullible he is. He most probably didn't make an ass of himself on purpose, while he danced he just seemed too proud of himself, with a retarted little smirk. He thought he had a chance....

Finally, I have no proof that he wasn't going to get the scholarship anyway, but he was already studying in another university at the time so I would safely suppose he wasn't. But then again supposing isn't the best way to prove an arguement. All I can tell you is what I know, and the media (although you can't completely trust them) made it seem like he got the scholarship because of that. In all probability, it really boosted his chances.

I have no facts I admit that, but think about it objectively, without looking to win an arguement, isn't it too much a coincidence? Isn't there a big chance that the American Idol "show" upped his odds a bit, or completely, and helped him get his scholarship?

I think so...

Anyway the record deal was completely uncalled for, and if anything what I feel for him is not jealousy, its pity....
