all this morning I thought it was June 1st stupid May and it's 31 days..it used to have only 30 days those were the days...........

A lot of people think May only has 30 days. When I tell them my birthday is May 31st I usually get called a liar... as if I wouldn't know my own damned birthday. When did it used to have only 30 days? I was born on the 31st and it's been there as long as I've been alive... unless my mother's been lying to me all this time. Come to think of it... I wouldn't put it past her...

Ah yes, May 31st. I remember the day that the High Council of Wizards gathered all those many years ago in the midst of the ancient forest and decided to prolong the year by one day. It was quite the decision to make, I'll tell you. I was barely able to convince Saruman of the faults December the 32nd would bring (he was still on the path of light back then). Good times, good times...
