      five 500Gb HDD's in a raid-5
      nothing too fancy

      docthory:
I was wanting something non-hard drivey,
I'm currently using an array of 250gb's (the predecessors of the 500gb drives) at the mo for backup
      but hard drives are delicate

      well, anyway....
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that a duplicate raid array is the cheapest option

I have 32 GB on my hard drive, and 1GB free.

I've been trying to start to consider buying more space for a couple of years now.

A few years? I'd consider getting a new computer. If not you can look on newegg, that's where I got mine. The 250 GB HD and external case (with lights!) and shipping for $111.
