If you had one wish....

I'd wish to have unlimited power I have actually thought about this for years I would only use the power to keep myself alive, thats it, maybe a house or two.. but I wouldn't interfere with civilization to live forever would be the awesomest thing, to witness the world change for longer than most people I dunno... just seems awesome. And I would also use the power to travel the galaxies when (inevitably) the solar system collapsed and I would be floating around forever gasping for air (pretty boring)

Yeah, I'd definitely try the "Unlimited Wishes" thing first. How much would it suck for you to make your 1 wish and have the wish-granter say "What are you stupid? I would have wished for more wishes.....God....moron." Haha. But if that was against wish-granting policy, I'd wish for the power to manifest my imagination, At Will. (The "At Will" is very important. Not specifying your intention could have some Very Damaging consequences. Ever see the movie Wishmaster? )

lol I remember when I was little and people would say "If you had 3 wishes and you couldn't wish for any more than that what would you wish for?" I would say I would wish that the rule against wishing for more wishes didn't exist... then I'd wish for more wishes. But with one ya can't do that... Hmm I'd probably wish for... a small jewel that would grant me three wishes... and then go from there...

I think I'd wish for everyone to be honest, that no one could lie any more, and everyone would be compelled to tell the truth. It's not a wish spawned by personal tragedy or anything, but I think the world would be a better place for it. Granted everything would go *BOOM* for a while, but then things would get worked out one way or another. It'd be nice to live a life where you never had to worry about whether or not someone could be trustworthy.

I think I'd wish for more creativity and artistic sense. To be exact, it would be like, making me actually a good musician, songwriter, and I kinda always wanted to be able to paint and draw worth anything. And then I'd live off of album sales Well seriously, I guess I'd want to do something that could change the world. I'm not sure its legal to wish for something like 'no war', because war is just a consequence of the way things are. Maybe I'd wish for everyone to TRULY be able to empathize with everyone else. The entire world would finally be able to see other's point of views and feel how it is to be in one another's shoes. I think this would fix a lotta problems. I don't think people are intentionally bad or mean or evil people, I think people just forget to care about how other people feel. It's a sort of laziness. Anyways, this is getting into a complete tangent.

There are cases when it is not best to be honest. Take for example little kids and Christmas. It'd kinda ruin that. Or surprise parties. Of course these are all lighthearted things. Furthermore take matters of spirituality. Often uncertain and everybody has different beliefs. Let's say for instance I believed that when we die we all go to a different planet and are reincarnated (I don't believe that, just for the record). Let's also say that I am wrong. If I go tell people that's what happens, am I lieing? There are cases when the truth is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. I think I would reword that to "... no one could maliciously lie anymore". That is, no one could lie with intent to harmfully decieve or purposefully mislead someone for their own benefit. Actually I wouldn't wish that at all. I certainly can see the benefit of not having to worry whether people are trustworty though. Anyway just thought I'd input my two cents. No offense intended or anything.

If I had one wish, I would wish that people could just love (or a the very least, like) others, regardless. People are so violent, and that sucks..I know that my wish was a basic hippie wish, but I really wish that this could really happen in the world.

Hmm... I suppose if I had ONE wish.... and one wish only... Oh, hell, I'd end up cheating in any case. My SECOND wish... Would be to know what I want to wish for. My third wish would depend on the results of the second. That's how I function. Slow, inefficent, but I do what I want to do. Eventually.

Absolute power. I would use it to build temples over Earth and all other planets I would discover, where everyone would be forced to worship me. I would also make new laws, but I don't want to go through all of them. I would have a law that criminals would have to fight until death in an arena, using anything from ancient weapons to modern age weapons. It all would be sent on television aswell, and people would be able to pay to watch it, as people watch soccer currently.
