Leo Volont, remember him? Just search the name on google and you will see his trail all over the science and philosophy forums. Well it turns out he has his own blog which makes for (in true Leo style) engaging and thought provoking writing |

That was really quite interesting and there is some amount of truth to his posting about lucid dreaming. It's too bad he acted like such a jerk and got himself perma-banned. Often his posts were thought provoking. |

Sorry to whip a dead horse, but why exactly was he banned? His comment against atheism wasn't that offensive |

Just the usual, flamming people, being a jerk... |

It wasn't any single incident that got him banned. It was months of constant rudeness and abuse toward members, especially new members that came in asking innocent questions. I think we were extremely tolerant. |

Maybe that's because they saw what he did here on DV? |

I'm pretty sure Seeker implied that he was banned within 5 days for his actions there. |

Ummm, no I don't think much of what he has to say is thought provoking. What he wrote about lucid dreams, from that link that I read, had NOTHING to back it up. Plus, he says he has dreams where he talks with angels about types of sin! Please, lets try to keep this a science so we can make some progress and not get involved with stuff like OBE's and astral projection, and god forbid let some guy who has religious dreams tell us that lucid dreaming is bullshit. (Damn, I got angry. And I've been trying so hard not to! What with all the meditation...etc...) |

Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? -- Morpheus
A blog is perfect for Leo. I commented recently that he needed his own forum - elsewhere. It seems he has it. |

Ohhh christ. Leo Volant has a blog....I would not care to read it. I remember him as what i shall describe as...a very frustrating person. It doesn't surprise me he finally got banned from DV or that he's been banned elsewhere. |

UNBAN LEO!

IMHO, Leo is extremely well spoken, intelligent and interesting. I'll probably be popping in and reading his blog from time to time. |

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
Looked at this guy's blog... seems like a funny bloke... I wonder what would happen if I left a comment |
