That's more like blue. Looks quite normal to me. Wouldn't trigger a reality-check.

On the way into work there was a frog exactly the same color as my shirt. It was a bluish-green, very pretty, and it was really round-shaped and flat, and just sitting there on the window sill looking very out of place. I picked it up, and it was not very afraid. I had a strange urge to keep it, but then it peed on me and started to try to jump so I carried it over to the pond and let it go.

Guess what? I found a frog that matched me, totally distracted me from what I was doing, I wanted to keep it as a friend, and I didn't do an RC! Thanks for reminding us, pj, to keep our eyes open for weird things that can spark those am-I-dreaming moments. If you notice the strange things while you're awake, your much more likely to notice them when you're dreaming.

I like the purple digger-thing. Safety orange is probably safer tho.

There's a dumpster company in Orlando, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, or somewhere around central Florida, that's owned by Women. The company is called "She Can" and all of their construction dumpsters are pink I tried to find a picture but I can't find anything about them on the Internet. I know for a fact they exist though. Maybe I'm spelling it wrong.

I was going to start a similar thread by telling about something I saw about 2 1/5 months ago. I was sitting on my front porch re-reading EWOLD and noticed an unusually high number of pedestrians walking down our street. Next, I saw a little boy (maybe 2-3 years old) walk down the street alone, passed the post office and went to the store down the road.

As the boy passed in front of my house, I thought how odd it is that some child so young should be walking alone like that. I then thought how bad it would be if he were to get hit by one of the cars coming from of pulling into the post office. I he did get hit, I thought, I'd have to be dreaming.

He passed by without any problem. I was doing RCs already because of the high volume of foot traffic. I got back into the book then heard a yelp. I looked up and over to see the boy had gotten hit by a tall 4x4 truck as he passed the post office on his way back from the store. The truck driver got out and comforted the child. Within no time, Police showed up, the child's Mother showed up, then it all cleared out as swiftly as it began.

All RCs showed that I was awake. A neighbor mentioned something about it later that day then the next day so, I guess it was real. It sure seemed like a dream though. Very odd experience, that was.

Well, when I was in Japan... when I saw billboards I made a note to RC (I can recognise katakana,hiragana and some common kanji. But saying that, there are over 3000 kanji characters) A perfect time to RC the 'random' looking symbols.

It's funny but yesterday I got a cheque for £250,000 in the post in a yellow envelope saying urgent, do not destroy ect.

But then in small print it said, "example only" followed by a letter saying :

"Mr * ***** is guarenteed six chances to bank up to £250,000 in cash."

Thats what I get for getting my hopes up, some junk mail.

It PEED on you! You know a frog one time peed on me at summer camp (Camp Sacagewa) and I got a wart on my finger!!! I thought that was an old wives tale until that happened!!

pj, I would done a double take if I had seen that excavator!

I'm trying to remember some of my "oh that's weird" sitings and the only one I can think of right now was that one day I was waiting at a light and the "Oscar Meyer Weiner" mobile drove by right in front of me.

Thought this thread could use some resurrecting. Recently, some guy dressed as a bull ran through our lecture hall at college (ie university), followed by a large group of people dressed as some sort of tribe thing. They came out of nowhere and completely disrupted my professor's lecture. The whole situation felt quite surreal, and I found myself doing a couple of RCs.

I love moments like those.
