My informative article concerning dielectric absorption of capacitors, its cause, and its effects to the sample and hold circuitry in AFT, A/D conversion, AGC, VCO and servo applications has been greeted by a field of crickets.

Oh well, at least most of my other instructional articles are getting recognised.

PS, All this walking and jogging has made my shins way too sore. Ouch.

OK, rant...

I have this friend who suffers from something ressembling epilepsy. So anyways, I was walking around the corridors at school during my break and I saw her sitting on a chair trying to get my attention. I go over to her and she tells me that she thinks she's about to get an episode or whatever. So I just told her to calm down, breathe a bit and that I would try and get her to the infirmary. So we make it about 3/4 of the way and she collapses (great), I put her on her side and told a guy to watch her while I went to get the medic. Well, turns out that the medic wasn't there, in fact she's rarely there, because she only works a few days a week!

WTF kind of public place doesn't have proper medical services? So what happened was a security guard, an onlooker and a few people from the healthcare department forming a circle of stumped looks around her with me telling them wtf to do... Anyone else think this is absurd??!

I hope they at least called for real medical attention: EMS/ ambulance. A school without full-time medical staff? Yes, that's ridiculous.

Actually, there's really no need to call EMS for her, there's nothing dangerous about it, nothing that can be done by paramedics either

... I think the paramedics know her name by heart now...

Well it potentially is, you have to do some basic evaluations and paperwork after the fact that I'm not qualified to do...

On another note, I hate having the TV set up behind my computer, everytime there's a game on my neck hurts.
