Weirdest thing your animal(s) do?

My dog randomly bounces verticly, and backs up down the hall. my cat yodels at night when hes lonely.

Cloud jumps straight up from the floor to shoulder height so you will catch him and carry him around. Titus begs to have his teeth brushed every night before bed. Red is only a baby so doesn't have many weird habits yet, except he chases his tail sometimes.

Is it normal for cat's to come immediately, even if they're outside, when you're opening a can of tuna? Or is it normal when your cat comes immediately, even if they're outside, when you bring out the can opener (and not even eating tuna)? Charlotte always bugs me to come into the cat room and remove all the gaps that have opened up in her pile of food. No idea why she doesn't like to eat unless it's full.

I used to have a dog that at some point became afraid of her food plate. Even when we changed the plate she was afraid and wouldn't eat from it, just bark at it. She would only eat if we put the food no the floor or on a piece of paper. My cat Pumitoosh likes to turn on the gas knobs on the kitchen stove, so I have to shut the main gas off whenever I don't use it.

Is it normal for cat's to come immediately, even if they're outside, when you're opening a can of tuna?. Sure. Mine did. Trouble is they can't tell the difference between tuna and every other bloomin tin you open. They're convinced that every one of them must contain delicious cat food you're too stingy to share. No George, you don't eat tinned peaches. Abbey was quite a large cat. He'd stretch out and lie in front of the fire... twisted so his head was facing the opposite direction to his back legs. You wouldn't have thought it'd be comfortable. Not that this is specific to my cats, but they do look awful funny eating grass. And I still can't believe it when they jump up a wooden fence, balance on the top which is less than an inch wide, and turn to walk along it. Must be magic.

My dog is a lesbian. Once when I had a rabbit, it would run in circles around a guinea pig for a few minutes, pretty funny actually. My dog always barks at 5pm as it knows when to have dinner. Also my dog has to make sure everyone is in bed before it goes to sleep.

oh well woole doesnt meow normally. Rather then the miaow!!! its a " Brrrrrrrrow!", like i weird mix of a purr and a meow, he always does it when i come home or he comes home and wants to know where i am in the house, he goes either " BRRRRROW!!!!!!!" way loud or this meow a cat does when it;s going to be sick, he does that really loud until i shout him:p. I think he's trying to say " Brown", my surname:p

My hammy Dusty likes to do backflips off the highest platform in her cage. It's a wonder she hasn't broken any bones yet. And my cat Bandit won't drink water normally. He dips his paw in and licks the water off of it.

Our dog puts "treats" under our pillows in each of our beds when we leave her in the house alone for any length of time. She'll sometimes get a box of cookies out of the pantry, open it and make her deposits, and then leave the rest of the cookies uneaten. A couple weeks ago, I emptied a pocketful of dog treats out of a jacket pocket before retiring it for the season, piling them on a counter in the kitchen. We went to a movie later that evening... came home and found we each had a dog treat under our pillows. As usual, she had eaten none of them.

My bearded dragon thinks one of our cats is do-able. When I let him out, he will find the cat, bob his head in the standard authorative male fashion and then take off after the cat. He tries to grab her by the neck and mount. Really, really weird.

We have a horse (not mine), it once lifted it's tail over a metal fence, so that it's bum was touching one of the horizontal metal bars, and started rubbing from side-to-side. The funny thing was that it made a really loud screeching noise.

LOL!!! goldney's reply reminded me of the following: I had put one of my dogs in his kennel as I had some things to do around the house. Well why I was gone.. he must have literally put his butt up against the bars as he had shot shi$ across the room!! I guess he had a bad case of projectile diarrhea and didn't want to dirty his freakin' kennel!! It was so bad that, after "gloving" up and cleaning the spare bedroom, I had to take him to the vet where he was given a shot to "dry him up". .

Hrm itchy dog butt. Reminds me of one of my dogs, when he had an itchy butt while he was out for a walk at the park. He was in a sitting down position and used his front legs to pull himself about. Nothing like walking a dog do that with loads of people walk bye.

Once she reaches the top, she tends to turn around and sprint back down again. Very strange
