      Review this thread

This is the place for those of you wishing to review this thread. Here is my review:

      An Empty Wasteland of Unfunny
Skysaw, the original author of the thread Review this thread seems to be attempting some sort of bizarre self-referential humor, but it ultimately falls flat. It seems evident that he was expecting multiple posters to come and give a review, yet to date, no one has. All in all, it was a very unsatisfying read. But what more could be expected from such a convoluted idea? Even if there had been posts on the thread for me to review, I don't expect they would have been of much merit. The best that could have been expected would be that it devolve into a senseless match of out-silly your neighbor. The fact that no one in the community bothered to take on the challenge just further shows how pointless the exercise was in the first place.

An interesting discussion of "Self-referential humor" (Skysaw) that gets you so excited about what you might gain in insight, you may just have to pee yourself"

Skysaw, an interesting tid-bit of wit, engages his Hogen Bogen to discuss how he desires reviews for his thread. He seems to have been looking forward to multiple posters indulging in his idea of the "Review This Thread" thread. However, only a strange young man from North America, with a psuedonym "bro", seems to have bothered to even attempt a review, be it humorous or not. "Bro" will now proceed to review himself, since at this time, he is the only other thing there is to review. Bro's name is "Bro", and posts on dreamviews, and is located somewhere in a State in the U.S. We can conclude with Bro's story by assuming he did not disclose his exact location for fear of being brutally tush-raped by a fanatic lucid dreamer.
We now can look forward to numerous posters discussing the significance of the "Hogen Bogen" mentioned above, and the exact "tushy-rape" the above poster was describing so very intently.

      Thumbs down

Esoteric Humor Largely Ignored by Forum-Goers

A few weeks ago I was asked to review this thread, and found very little to read. However, with the prospect that the thread may grow and offer more of interest to the reader, I decided to revisit it to see if there was anything new to change my opinion.

Little has been added in the three weeks since this largely unvisited thread first appeared, but one might consider this to be a blessing considering the pointless drivel that was tacked thoughtlessly onto the end. Even a mention of the mysterious "Hogen Bogen" did little to breathe life into this meandering waste of time.

I do feel it is only fair to mention the one highlight that did offer me some amusement. The author himself reviewed the thread and apparently found it lacking as well. I found it quite ironic, but was not surprised that he has not since returned.

A Wretched and Deservedly Shunned Pile of Meaningless Rabble

Nine months after the appearance of this thread, there is little in the way of improvement. I did note that today there was a new post, but was dismayed to find that it was only my own negative response, dredging up the horrible memory of my first encounter with this vapid fluff piece.

On the brighter side, at least it had been buried for awhile before being resurrected, and a little nostalgia did dull the pain to a small degree. It also seems to be longer by one entry, but as I previously pointed out, it was not one of great reading interest to me, having had just recently written it.

Out of pity for this thread, I clicked on it, read it, then amused myself for a few milliseconds by opening the links within links and watching them stack up, pondering the meaninglessness as a metaphor for life in general, and this evening in particular.
