I remember when I didn't need to do anything and had next to no responsibilities.

I remember when I was a total n00b to the internet, and didn't know what LOL meant.

I remember when I used to be really fussy about food.

I remember when a hoe was a gardening tool.

I remember when Coke was Coca-Cola.

I remember when you could take nail clippers on an airplane.

I remember when it was just common courtesy to open/hold the door for a woman. Dang automatic doors are ruining that.

I remember when Hayden Christensen wasn't in Return of the Jedi.

I remember when the Hardy Boys books didn't seem cheesy.

I remember when life was simple, and just walking to the mailbox was an adventure. Oh, how our concept of life changes with age.

I remember when gas was less than $1.00 a gallon. (I have a good memory, eh?)

I remember when Coca-Cola cans were $.25 out of the machine. Still are, if you can find them. Small towns . . .

I remember when Cokes came in glass bottles, and were made with real sugar, not this high-fructose corn syrup crap they use nowadays.

I remember when the Atlanta Braves didn't suck, and actually WON games.

I remember when my uncle would say, "Almost don't count unless you're playing horseshoes.".

I remember when inflation hadn't been inflated yet.

I remember when the Dollar was on top.

And I remember when Michael Jackson had a nose.


Nostalgia's not what it used to be.
