I dunno - Dove does a pretty amazing job here in the States. That would be my second choice, and would include both milk and dark chocolate.

And I say that as somewhat of a chocolate snob.

One Christmas I got a box of Godiva chocolates from the cardiologist I work with - all the pieces were hand painted and looked too pretty to eat. (I even took pictures of them...)

BUt after the pictures, I got over the prettiness and ate them They were good, but I still prefer Dark Toblerones.

      Oooooh, so pretty!

Has anyone had those chocolates shaped as mini liquor bottles? They come in a big box... those are good as well.

I love Galaxy and Gillians (I think that's what it is, they are Belgium). But I am not a HUGE chocolate fan.

There is a shop in Brighton made of chocolate - like literally you walk in and it is made of chocolate, really is a place you need to see if anyone is down this way, I can give a personal tour

YES! And they have the different brands and stuff? Mine actually had like the liquor in the middle though... So they didn't taste that good, but were cool.

I love Cadbury's milk chocolate. I haven't had a whole lot of really good chocolate bars, but I do love truffles.

And, once a lady I worked with brought back some chocolate from Italy, and I can't remember the name. They were these little chocolates with real espresso inside....... To... die... for!

Truffles. They're not necessarily "chocolate bars". Them are tasty, but I've had even better truffles, if we're going to to in that direction.

EDIT: Wait, they do make bars as well... They're pretty good

Yeah yeah yeah! I liked the liquor in the middle... but I usually love any kind of chocolate that has gooey flowy stuff in the middle. Like those really cheap Queen Anne things.

And just briefly, there's a difference between liquor and a liqueur. A liqueur is a sweetened alcohol, usually cooked with or drank in small quantities.

...not that I'm picky or anything.

Do you mean Guylian chocolate? They come in a box and in a bar known as the Marble.

Toblerone for sure, all colors. Skor (that toffee is unbeatable).

And here's a "retro" one, a blast from the past (they don't even make 'em anymore). I wonder if anyone here even remembers them... the Wig-Wag? Gawd.. those were good. So rare you can't even find a picture of one. There's an "equivelent" in the UK called a Curly Wurly if you live there go and buy one damnit! I sure as hell can't!!! (lucky buggers!)

*ahem* Actually, it more than rocks.

It is the foundation, on which all chocolatiers consider their base excellence.

If it isn't the best chocolate in the world, correct me.

Yet, be warned, i have a taser.

They do all types of chocolate. Crunchy, chewy, creamy, soft, minty, dark, white, the list goes on.

Cadbury is raw powder in comparison.

/me inserts fresh battery into taser.

      Challenge me.
